So. I discovered something all rv / toyhauler owners don't want to find. After tearing into the exterior of my camper I discovered some rotten wood. Time to take it aprt, chase it down cut new stuff and replace it. Once that is complete we need to waterproof it and prevent this from happening again.

When u do a new roof on them u put some kind of tape but usually rubber tape for like houses or something but duct tape will work on the edges so there is no sharp edges to poke thru the new roof lining. It appears the redid the roof but didn't fix the back wall rot lol..

The duct tape is used on all of the edges of decking and some times even putty tape. It stops the rubber roof from cutting itself over time on the edge of the decking.

Unfortunately all toy haulers leak, especially stick and tin. Make sure you by the proper RV caulk for the seams and roof

But deff put some kind of tape prefer window tape flashing back where that duct tape is so the screw heads are covered and the edge is covered so it don't fail in future..
