This is the fastest motorcycle rider on Tail of the Dragon. I struggle to keep up with him, but give a glimpse on his incredible speed. He just started a youtube channel @Antprilia.
The way he connects the corners is amazing. This might not even look fast to the casual observer, but to be able to maintain this pace you need to know this road extremely well and be able to nail those transitions.
I second that. And the speed to which he flicks his bike from one side to the other, combined with his general smoothness and commitment to his lines are truly amazing. He's a talented biker that can exploit his RSV.
Plus his line discipline is insane which makes it even more impressive. You hardly even see him touch the yellow or white, which narrows the road way down.
@@benadams8130 very true, max couldn't really catch up even when he was riding on the wrong side of the road which imo is cheating quite a bit, easily antprillia is the fastest on that stretch of road
That Aprilia is like a ballerina in that man's hands....wow. some of the most technical, "legal" and beautiful riding I've seen on a road in a motovlog from a non pro rider. No motobro shenanigans, just pure talent and skill. You found a real hidden gem in those mountains.
Such a crazy run!! He must have been hauling ass!!! Cuz he wasnt cutting some of the corners like wristy was and wristy still couldn't hang with him that well
I love this humble version of maxwrist. He is growing all the time as a human being and rider. And it is a beautiful thing he is open to sharing all of it with us the audience. I believe best thing he ever did was distance himself from maxy (super immature person imo). It’s nice seeing Wristy playing a smart game in trying to catch antprilia. Setting himself constant small goals and taking his time. U can tell his first goal was to just hold the guy in sight and he did a very good job of that on this run and u could see how happy this made him. Respect to both riders
I’m happy to see Eddie’s riding done as it should be. Fast but not really endangering anyone. This is good and probably his best riding I’ve seen to date.
I rode it this weekend on my Ultra Classic, stopped numerous times to watch the sports bikes rip it, I absolutely love watching you guys, I truly admire the skill set and respect for the road!
ahhh the excuses started to fly as soon as MW stopped, & it was fun watching MW unravel & cut corners & go across the center line, the fella on the aprilia had your # max squid.
The Aprilia's suspension front and rear was fine tuned for that ride. It seemed to be a perfect combination of tire compound, suspension, and rider confidence that allowed him to flow through the dragon as if he was on a GP Moto track. Outstanding.

your opponent or better teacher didn't not cross the yellow lines , you did several times trying to gain time on him, he is very smooth and very good, always be grateful to see one is doing better then you, it just shows you can still learn more, many blessings and drive safe
Wnat a driver that guy is super smooth he was just going with the flow of the turns this is the type of rider you can learn from . He was always on his site of the road that shows how good he was to use only his line on every corner a video I add to my favourites 🤟
Aprilia is one 0f the best bikes out there for handling and power. Very under rated in my opinion. I had Ducati before and now own an Aprilia rsv4 factory

This is why I started following you man, great battle, attention grabbing speed and control, ant makes it look so ez 😂!! 🙌 hopefully I’ll make it there this summer soon, it’s only 6hrs away from me
Upgrade ur brakes as I see alot of BMW's upgrading breaks which will definitely help you with entering speed & braking harder going into the corners, fitness also plays a big part. You have also had a few bad crashes which kills the confidence. Yous are both great riders, keep the videos coming Wristy 💯👍 All of your crew and other riders Antprilla etc keep safe on the dragon ...no need to push your luck 👍
Hope y'all are still at it and are there whenever I finally make it up to the dragon. I live in Blountville Tennessee only about 2 hours from the dragon and still haven't been there i always end up going to 421 "the snake".
You may have felt like you were struggling but I kept an eye on your speedometer the whole time and you’ve definitely ridden sections at a higher speed in other videos
MW was outclassed here. However, the Aprilia rider did have at least two moments that showed he was closer to the ragged edge than he might otherwise have appeared. The first was circa 2:40 - he realised he was shovelling it into that left-hander too enthusiastically, and had to lose some lean in order to brake. Second moment - and one that I think was much more dangerous was the overtake around 8:29. Did he REALLY have the view there?? That looked to me like a totally blind manoeuvre, hoping there was nothing oncoming but not knowing for sure at all.
That first one was not as you see it. There was a slight short straight after the initial left before the big left, he makes the slight left kink then stands it up for the short straight whilst braking and then turns in for the left hander. Watch it back and you’ll see.
I don’t pass vehicles in blind spots hopping the ghost is clear, and at 2:40 I was fine, I didn’t have any issues. The camera on my head looks like I cross lines but I’m not, it’s just my head crossing at times..
