Go do a track day where it's safer. Not trying to roast you, but if you listen, you'll be thankful that you did one day vs laying in a ditch with the lower half of your body laying 30 feet away.
I enjoyed the commentary. I enjoyed how thrilled you were. I'm not sure if anyone spoke to you that day, but crossing the mustard is just about the worst thing to do up there..(Insert but I could see ahead comments). David was able to keep his camaros peach between the lines for the most part. A bike shouldn't be across the lanes. I'd hate to see you lose a head up there, which happens more than you'd think.
@@kawasakirrpilot I've been called chucky before. I am not local, but I'm up there almost every weekend. Yellow MKV supra. People call others all kinds of names tbh. The fast persons usually hang out at night vs day time.

A little background on my 2021 #ZL1 #1LE A10 Camaro is that it is 100% OEM with the exception of the @HawkPerformance DTC60 brake pads, Rotofab intake, Gates Green SC belt and ATI billet crank pulley and stock-diameter blower pulley. The tires I was running are stock sized 305 30/19 & 325 30 19 Michelin Sport Cup 4S, not the 100TW Goodyear Supercar 3R tires the car comes stock with and what I track at Road Atlanta, Barber or VIR. Practice being smoother and holding your line speed will come the smoother you are on the throttle and brakes. You where way out position a lot and there increase risk. Remember ride your ride be safe and speed will come
@@Supernova12034 I have ridden US129 many times. It can be a lot of fun. There really isnt any need to ride it like a fool, as it is quite challenging on its own at the posted 30mph speed limit...or at least somewhere near the limit.
My brother in Australia was an A grade motor cycle racer. He had won 100 races from 250s up to improved production which are now called super bikes. He also owns a genuine Evo 3 lancer and he says that up in the hills in the twisties there is no way any bike can keep up with a well set up car. Insane corner speed and raw power can be used halfway through a turn.

Good video, but if you can't run that pace without constantly going over the mustard lines, then you are going too fast for your skill level... But overall, good riding and great vid.
Love these canyons man but it’s hard to enjoy it when there’s a lot of traffic going the opposite way, sometimes they even go over the yellow lines almost hitting you. Had a few trailers almost close line me cause they go over to my side of the road

The speed limit on the Dragon is 30 mph, but you go ahed and go 60-70 plus and then yell and scream at other people when they don't aid you in your lawlessness. You are an inspiration to us all. This is why I don't ride there..Don't want to be taken out by a Rossi wanna be. Go to track days,find out what really going fast is and live a longer life
Good job riding your ride and not trying to over ride but you should work on staying in your lane a little more on those turns as you dont know whats coming around you can get smacked in the head by a car.
I would recommend a training in taking corners. This is for European standards a totally common country side road. No need to race and die. Only shows that Americans are not used to this.
Practice treating the mustard and mayonnaise like cliffs and consider covering your controls at all times. Perfect practice makes perfect. What a fun road.
I cannot understand why the camera man wasnt shifting back and forth from 2nd to 3rd gear to keep his bike at the peak of his power band. Im sure that bike is dead about 8,000 rpms and above. I think he would be able to get better time shifting up and down.
camaro was slow af, I was the middle bike. This was like a 5/10. Not a fan of running with cars usually because not many are very fast and slow down in weird places.

Too much hate. You can see the speed he is managing from the bikes in front and their lean angle. Haven’t been to that road but usually there’s more gravel if you go over the white line. I think riding was better when going slower.

Well of course, a motorcycle has 2 wheels and a car has 4 massive wheels. It doesnt take a genius to realize that. But still a nicely setup 400cc with 50 horsepower bike is going to keep up with a a 300 horsepower car...
@@emptyMT839 A nicely setup 400cc with 50hp absolutely cannot keep up with a nicely setup car at 300hp, with equal riding / driving skill (e.g. advanced) especially at the tail. No way. You must be getting it on with tourists.. I would like to see, let alone advanced riders, professionals try passing some of those local people with honda civics on slicks with their superbikes (and they have low HP).

But all I know is going elbow down on a corner is way more fun and not even driving a $300,000 car can match the feelingz

My 80hp car with $80 tires (200tw), driven by me, keeps up with 80HP bikes with average riders very easily on the dragon. In fact, most of the time they are holding me up. (My single cam AE86). Even the ones that are clearly trying to go fast and not pulling over. Lots of people overestimate the abilities of a bike vs a car, especially cornering and braking. Cars are better at this very twisty low speed corner exit stuff. Bikes have a hard time getting up on power without a wheelie or washing out on these slow exits, cars just rotate a bit and go at over 1g. If this was a bigger road with more high speed sweepers then the car advantage goes away. Less direction changes, and the bikes can use their power to weight advantage more fully on exits. Now if you wanna talk about who is having the most fun, that's different. But its worth noting that the most common type of motorcycle accident is a bike rear ending a stopping car. That's what overconfidence is.
@@kawasakirrpilot Cars are better than bikes in the turns, but much slower in a straight line. Camaro is a great chassis, and if in top spec, it should have the advantage here. Very few people know how to drive.
@@emptyMT839that's a Camaro ZLE. The best track capable Camaro ever, and better on the track than a new mid engine Corvette with Z51 package. It's a muscle car, and it's heavy, but it sure as hell can take turns for what it is. This road is not the place to push 10/10s. Fun video though for sure.
You are on the wrong side of the a few times your lines are shit the Camaro is to much for your bike,but a above you are riding above your skill level on a public road
