Since everything was cancelled, I decided to make use of my time by filming some trains. My friend Caleb, who was just as bored as I was, offered to join me. I picked him up at 7 AM and drove into Mason. The JL2 crew boarded their train a bit before 8, so we moved to a spot further north. Some viewers with a good eye may notice that the opening shot was taken on a different day. I decided to re-film that shot the following week, because the original went out of focus. The train made its daily stop at RSDC in Holt, and continued to Lansing with only 2 boxcars. Big thanks to Caleb for filming the pacing scene on Depot Street while I drove. Once our train arrived in Lansing, they surprisingly spent no time switching in Ensel yard, and instead moved immediately to the branch line. After switching the Canadian National interchange in Waverly for a half hour, they returned to Mason empty. We caught them at just about every other crossing. If you're wondering how I filmed the shot at Clara's, we climbed a staircase on the side of a building. The GP9s returned to Mason at 11:30. If you know someone that may enjoy this video, please share it with them! Thanks as always for watching. I'll see you all next time.
