Seems to be a recurring pattern that I have little chases with MX5's. These two were rockets in a straight line but enjoyed pushing to catch them back up in the corners. Hopefully, we can have some more, longer chases on the next few track days we go to. Need to get this thing competing in something!
There was another good battle with a Mk3 MX5 but unfortunately the audio on that is pretty terrible so not sure if I will upload that.

Nice thanks, great fun chasing you around! I loved how it spat those massive flames out while flying down the straights. What sort of power are you running to create those?

@@VVCandVANOS we think on Virtual Dyno it is about 230whp. My brother @mandarinmiata could tell you more, he does that sort of stuff, I just do the nuts bolts stuff.

Great video. We mentioned you were quick in the little TF... Great fun being chased and chasing throughout the day. I clearly ha e some work to do in the corners... Let me see which page I can tear out the racing drivers book of excuses lol😁👍

Thanks, Yes great to have some cool cars at a similar pace to chase around! You guys in the MX5's seemed to be my targets all day, just didn't get chance to come over and have a closer look. Been enjoying some of your vids also, think I need some power like that! Haha, well... I reckon not having a passenger has got to be worth at least a second a lap.

@@mandarinmiata8209 Been meaning to try Blyton for a while now as I'm relatively local to it. Nice would be interesting to see what you've got going on underneath, especially now. Unfortunately I sent it a bit hard at Teeside Autodrome the other day... Probably going to be out of action for a while. Might have to be Turbo time for us now as well.

Cheers, detailed specs are in the video description. Short version is totally standard 160 engine internals + exhaust/intake @ 179 BHP. Close ratio box + LSD. Fully upgraded suspension/ARBs/etc. Caged with custom aero, cooling and rear brakes. All on AR1's. Will do a full spec video soon as the car has just had a massive engine overhaul. I believe these MX5's were running 250BHP+ and had plenty of other supporting mods.
