Welcome back!
I apologize for not getting a video last week but I was off work for 3 days and was out adventuring. One of those adventures is this weeks video! Today we venture out to check out some new to me falls in Virginia, in particular Upper Falls and Cascade Falls.
For directions to the trailhead just Google Cascade Falls Virginia and it’ll get you the turn by turn directions you need to get ya there. I’ll not keep you tied up in text, the trail awaits, Let’s Go!!
Go prepared, grab that GPS and stay safe, try your best to Leave No Trace!

I happened across your video by accident and have to say I was very impressed with the compositions and quality of your photos. I'm planning a waterfall chasing trip next week and this one certainly made the list. With all the rain we've had this year, all the waterfalls should be flowing nicely. I've lived in Virginia most of my life and this was the first time I've heard of this waterfall. Keep up the great photography.

Thanks I appreciate that! I’d suggest getting there early for this one because it’s a popular swimming hole. The day I was there between people at the falls when I was leaving and people I passed on the trail, there was no doubt over 100 people. Never fails! Lol Regardless the forecast, if I head to a falls, the sun will shine 😂 Yeah it was pretty crazy, I passed some big groups. Glad I was there at first light!

You got some nice compositions there. It's been dry this summer so I'm curious how different it'd look in a "normal" summer.

Thanks! I bet it’d be a real beauty at full flow. Maybe I’ll get lucky and catch it in the wet months if I get the chance to revisit.

Thanks! I need to become a better photo editor and do things like exposure bracket and stuff but I have a hard time getting into the editing 😅 All of my photos are single exposure shots.
