The bracing I have on my z is soul function front and rear lateral braces, rear tie bar, and 4 point mid brace, ultra racing 8 point front brace and w brace replacement, Bell Raceworks Diff Brace. The soul function braces provided flatter cornering and a notable but not a huge difference in handling and also some exhaust protection. I daily my 07 z I also have kw coil overs and white line front and rear sway bars and a graffiti Motorsports k harness bar. Along with poly trans and diff bushings The car is stiff but even in daily use it is still bearable.
Chris Jones yes Anthony is correct, I also requested the low profile brace to work with my z1 high capacity diff cover, they did that for no extra charge and all their parts fit flawlessly and are high quality
Still by far the cleanest white 350 AJ. The bracing seems more flushed with the other components. If your setup was low then possibly the bars might catch road debris. Looks imaculate as ever
Very nice video 👍 don’t know if I will need that much support under the car but definitely good advice. In the market for a Z but it will be more of a fun driver not racing/ drifting.
I wasn't sure what to think if you painting over their signature teal lol, but if you're looking for more stiffness, you should look into a rear diff mount.
To be fair it gets covered by the belly pan anyways and you can't see it. Will that diff mount take away from the cushioning affect for drivetrain shock? I currently run urethane bushings for the differential.
@@jellofuel for anyone reading the diff brace doesn’t help much with stiffening rear end. The vid he’s talking about is showing the difference between poly diff bushing and stock subframe bushings vs poly diff bushing with z1 subframe collars
Hi , (might be a dumb question) On the rear center tie brace did you have to jack the suspension? Asking bc I have a shop that has a bay and I can easily bolt it on , If so what is the procedure ? also is alignment required after the install ? Thank you , Love your z videos !!!
Yes, whenever I work on suspension I unload the suspension and raise the vehicle. Also gives more room to work on the vehicle. The rear tie brace I just re-torqued to factory spec.
Just bought an HR. Really want to put lowering springs, f/r sways, mid point chassis brace with poly diff/trans bushings, CAI, pipes & 4.08 vlsd. Or same as above except coilovers but no bracing + sways. Which one guys??
Hello. Is that some kind of heat shielding on the middle/H-brace? I am thinking of installing a the Z1 undershroud on my 350z. Do you think the Megan front lower bar will clear the Z1 undershroud or stock undershroud? I can't get a clear look from the video. Thanks.
Hey brother could you help me out so i thought my passenger window was broken like the switch so i put my key in the door and turned it which rolled down the window any later on i found out i had the child window lock on. Do you think it damaged mg window motor at all or anything else ?
It most likely will, I know the cars are a little different in length. Best thing to do is go on the manufacturer's web site or e-mail them directly. Just to make sure.
I'm pretty sure it would. As far as I know, the G35 is practically identical to the 350Z underneath as far as dimensions. Just the wheelbase and the driveshaft are different.
Yes and no. I had a Megan Racing unit on the front but didn't clear the aftermarket oil pan that well. The Soul Function unit goes a little deeper clearing it.
@@zamigoduh8384 Did you jack up the front end and support it on jack stands? You might need to hit the bolts with a drift and turn them out with a wrench so you don't damage the threads.
@@AnthonyJ350 Supposed to jack both side up? I only jack up one side and tried bolt loosed, but like the nut came off just not the bolt itself seems to be stuck or something? Did you have fitment problem with the undertray?
You seem preoccupied to the point of "Worry" over the fragile oul pan. There is a giy that makes skid plates fir and car. You should google him up some peice of mind... Its like skid plate joe or joey skid plate......he has skid plate in hus name...
@@AnthonyJ350 umm. lol. no. when I'm considering options I do my research and learned pretty quickly that the Z does not need structural reinforcement and so I came across your video and you spend an awful lot of time saying I don't really need this but I want to protect my oil pan!
@@Aeneas137 Might not need it. But I wanted it, like any mod people put on. You must know all this as well! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nNfUtKG-I-w.html
