You guys gave the new Capital cars 2 tries, and I guess I wasn’t the only one who thought you needed a change. Good luck with the newer car, hopefully you start stacking the checks.
I would like to see a video of meeting Mr Langenfelder! Great to have his support. I have been thinking it would be nice if you guys would try a different chassis!
I think it will help them even if they switch to a different chassis. The more experience you get with different situations the better I feel your program will be.
1:57 We built a new shop and when the floor was cured, I dumped a liter of used oil down and looked at everyone, who were understandably shocked. Whelp I exclaimed, no one needs worry about spilling on the new shop floors. Stress reliever actually.
You gotta thank Mr Langenfelter for working with u and your racing program he is a great sponsor for you all .he brings the program together .I think he saw you all were struggling with .the new 2022 capital racecar and wanted u to switch it up q bit to see what u can do with a different racecar good luck guys horns up
hope the new chassis makes a difference myself I believe springs shocks gears setup engine combination and most of all driver gets it done I'll have to say you guys have come a long way in just a few years and maybe this car will help you you really weren't too far off the best and experience at different tracks and different track condition will help I believe it is just a short way away until you will be right there alongside the best in the Super late model world keep digging you all are fun to watch and you must never forget where you came from and the Lord who has given you what you have
I’m excited to see how much the program has changed over the years. Very impressive guys. Thanks to Mr. Langenfelder for all of the support. These guys deserve it!
i can tell you boys what we added to our longhorn to make it alot faster that's a limiting strap to the left front ours like to lift the left front when in a turn and they don't like to be unloaded before or in a turn, and if you have Is direction problem gear it higher to lower the Torque to the rear tires it works for us ,the best of luck guys wish you all the best
Fact is, many a guys have won with a Capitol, and have switched to Longhorn due to the consistancy of handling well, most of the time, through minor adjustments. Just repeating what I have heard and seen. Guys like Mccreadie, Davenport and Marlar help each other along with other Longhorn drivers. I sooo wish you guys best of luck as I always do. But have fun. And yes that peanut butter fluff sammy is an up north thing.
Winfield, TN here I just wanna say watching y'all grow to where you are now has been awesome and I'm proud of y'all. I also think Joseph would be good in a Black Diamond car I think his driving style would mesh up good with the Black Diamond but I also think he'll do well in the longhorn,
I heard you mention the purchase of a forklift which helps tremendously around the shop with things, I'd also suggest a lift for pressure washing the cars. Makes thing so much easier, plus the other things that can be done with it make it priceless.
Headed in the best direction! Longhorn with clemments power is the most run setups so u learn to set this chasis up u headed for better results!!!! Fastest engines dont win for the most part its a greT handling setup that gets it done. Center off an plant the powa down boys!!!!!!!!
yea I know they need to swap it before they go They never would get the dale engine to hook up on those slick tracks. Less power means more speed for them on a slick track
The Dale engine may have the same. or less or more who knows I just know they made the big shows at Eldora, Top 10 at Altech scored a couple of seconds at Senoia and won the Nat 100. with the Draime. It just seems to work for Joseph.
That’s awesome to have gotten a longhorn! It will be a new change but be good in the end! Got to always keep up with new things and what’s working! Congratulations boys! Go Hunt the Front!
Always good to change things up and try different things. Different chassis. Long Horn makes a awesome chassi. Good luck to you guys at the next show. New shop looks good 👍.
Sucks in a way, capital has been great to them time and again. And you could tell Joseph was really torn about it. He won't forget what they did for them and all the help they gave them.
It hasn't been very long since Shane found a really big problem they had been having with that new Capital and not even starting races. It was just something that HTF had done wrong that they should have known better. I hate to see them give up that resource, Both Marshall and Shane!
@@jason5044 I would think that great relationship would change. they have said many times that that was something Capital did so well where no other builders did so well. We'll see, and hope you are right Jason.
I still remember the first video ! I still remember the big win joe joe had with his new capital ! I’ve watched since day one thanks for being something I look forward to watching !
Hey,here’s a thought. Jimmy is selling his Longhorn cuz he couldn’t make it fast. Chose the Rocket instead. Y’all sold the Capital cuz you caint make it fast. So,you purchased a car that someone had the same problem you feel you got rid of…. Justa thought….
New Car should mean new look!! Be Aggressive seriously!! Good or for the worst, we won’t know but all you can do is make the best of it! Don’t be so tense, loosen up and take it head on! And have fun with it, that’s why we watch!
I cannot wait to see y'all with that new car and win a lot of races with it and I hope that y'all bring that car to Beckley motor speedway next season if y'all come back and I cannot wait till see the next racing video I am enjoying every video y'all make y'all are awesome RU-vidrs thank y'all for everything y'all do and y'all are awesome race car drivers and y'all are one of the best in the business
I hate to keep saying it but every chassis brand has to have someone setting it up correctly, that goes for bar changes, shock adjustments, Tire prep etc etc also making changes throughout the night as the track changes and slicks off! Until they hire someone with experience setting these cars up and prepping tires correctly they're going to keep struggling. Anybody would that ran Regional their whole life! With some guidance I think this team is capable of winning in the near future but as of now teams like Madden, O'Neal, Davenport, Owens, Shepherd, Erb, have people in their corner with years of experience or the driver has raced long enough to make the adjustments to the chassis. For some reason they just don't want any help apparently because if they did one of the four could reach out and find someone to help. Everyone in the comments keep saying it's not easy to find a crew chief and if that's the case they could at least find someone to get under to teach them because they're just going in circles at this point. It's sad because this team is capable of running up front and getting top five and top 10s with the big boys possibly even winning some but without some guidance I'm afraid it's going to be the same scenario with any chassis they run
Happy Birthday Joey. Many more to ya man. Take a camera and get pictures of Jimmy Owens, Tennisan. If he can't go, that's the next best thing. You know. That will make his day or make him mad as the devil. You guy be careful going out there, take care and God Bless.
Well teams win with all types of chassis and Longhorn has been pretty popular. We will see if they can put it all together and get better results with this new setup.
Do you think you'll be upgrading any parts for the supers. Joseph mentioned shocks. Maybe increase the gear selection or other performance enhancement parts, belts, pulleys or bearings? Look forward to seeing a HTF wrap on the new car.!
Boy Howdy; I knew something was UP; just no idea as to what it was!!! I think that this is a very logical move. You have search out and try new things in order to expand your experience(s). I was the guy who was disappointed when you all decided to break off the relationship with Mr. Henderson or Hendrickson, whatever his name is. That was a completely different experience for Joseph. I have nothing against Capital Race Cars. I think that they are great. I like that Shane Clanton does so well with them, etc. However, now you have your very own Longhorn to experiment with and see if there is a positive surprise in store for you. I hope so. As always, I wish nothing but the best for the entire HTF Team!!!
