YES!! Utah! No one ever comes here or talks about Utah. But this is super important here on this issue, with it being a super religious state. I think we have one of the highest LGBTQ youth suicide attempt rate nationwide. 😢

I am moving to Utah in a couple of weeks and this aspect is so upsetting to me. But my grandbaby lives there. I have visited frequently over about 12 years and find it hard to stay respectful when you hear this hate. It doesn’t seem right to tolerate it.

Missourian here, born and raised and raising a family in the St. Louis Metro area (lived in a lot of other places/states, too.) There are so many of us in Missouri who support what Chasten is doing and happy to know that he will be coming to our state to spread the message of love.

@@crazycatmama2098 yeah…Josh Hawley isn’t even a Missourian. He grew up in Missouri, he has family in Missouri. He used his sister’s home address when filing his,paperwork to run for U.S. Senate. He lives in Virginia, where he had his house built and moved to after becoming a U.S. Senator for,the State of Missouri. His classmates from Yale Law School wrote an open letter to Missouri Voters delineating why he was not fit to be a U.S. Senator.

I live in Colorado where we have great respect for our great Governor who lives in my neighborhood with his husband and kids. I see them at the park, just like any family which cares enough to take their kids to the park. Chasten seems like a cool guy. I'm sure their family will be far better adjusted than 99% of conservative ones.

At our uni, csumb, we as students could only vote with provisional ballots because we were a "transient population." We were in 2 different districts as well. So I joined the Lobby Core, learned to lobby, and started a 'get out the vote campaign on campus. We demanded our right to vote and eventually got polling on campus, increasing the voter turnout on the central coast. It can be done. Learn the rules and challenge them over and over. I truly hope that those polling places are still there years later! If you don't like the candidates or the elected leaders, Run for Office!!!😊

I never knew Pete's husband was cool. I like this. Also Pete's resume is awesome. I fully expect him to run for president again. I hope Biden doesn't run again. I hope Pete is ready to take over but I also could see it being another 4 years. I don't know that he has been fully prepping for a presidential run.
