So, what is that one great breakthrough that you think can add to the future of ChatDev. Does it have to become MetaGPT in a way to keep up or there is a way for them outpacing the competition (like, for example, improving customization which is quite limited)?

Can i give a piece of code to debug to ChatDev?Till now whatever I have explored we can create small scale softwares that too are not perfect.If I am planning to build a debugger system will this framework be useful?If yes in what ways?
ChatDev can't really take code beyond the context limit of the LLM. If you would like to debug a code, it would be best to extract the relevant portions, feed in the compile error and ask directly on ChatGPT. If your code is small, ChatDev theoretically should be able to correct your code as they should have an in-built program executor to test it and feedback errors and correct them.
Great question! Currently, ChatDev is a very linear process with the high level decisions passed down to the low levels. How I envision agile/scrum to work is short bursts of small objectives to fulfil in a shorter timespan. In fact, within this short burst there could also exist this linear process of deciding top-level implementation routing down to the bottom. There is some merit to using some form of ChatDev process to fulfil the agile/scrum cycle. If the objective of the agile/scrum team is changed halfway, then we can replan the sequential process from the beginning. Between agile/scrum cycles, we will probably need more agent interactions here to dynamically form teams, to decide what is the objective of the agile/scrum. Some form of goal setting based on the overall goal of the customer needs may be needed here, which can be generated by GPT based on past successful and unsuccessful agile/scrum teams.
Hey there, you can try it out. Website and webapp, if they are part of Python programming, could be done too. I think the baseline is whether the LLM used is robust enough to generate code for your particular application. For cases that are too complex involving multiple files, it is best to design each file separately as the context length of ChatDev is the total sum of all the content of each file you need it to generate and more.
