Absolutely lovely ! Thank you for taking us on this tour. I find it interesting that the French love all things Italian and the Italian's love all things French. I descend from Charlemagne and other crown heads of Europe through some of my earliest American ancestors, so it is not surprising that I love both and find they do interchange in style and design throughout the ages. Marc is a wonderful home owner as you can tell how much he loves his home chateau. He loved giving the tour as much as we enjoyed his giving it. Y'all are amazing!
Merry Belated Christmas to Vivian, Simon & Isabella. Thank you for showing us this Beautiful, Beautiful Chateau at Christmas time. Joy & Peace to you. ✨🍊🏰🍊✨
Thank You for welcoming me to your channel. I have watched many extraordinary videos lately now you present such fascinating ones. Bravo. All the best with your new channel and this New Year.
Hi Vivienne darling, hope you had a great Christmas with Simon and Isobella . Thanks for showing us around. Absolutely delighted. Much love to you all. Lisa xx 💋 ❤️😘
Who knew oranges were a forbidden fruit back in the 17th century....fascinating! The commissioned piece of majolica, the unicorn, the grounds, the paintings. Merci Vivienne & Simon for taking us along ❤🙏.
Vivienne, you and Simon are the best, I enjoy your videos so much!!! The music is wonderful also. The trips you all take us to are so exciting. Thank you for sharing your family and friends. Be safe and take good care!!! Have a blessed week!!!
I wish Christmas lasted all year🎄🥂🎁❤️you and Simon look radiant and châteaux are truly one of your passionate elements. I’ve learned so much! Looking forward to your next adventure 🥂
We are so happy you are joining us, dear friend. It’s true, chateaux for me embody so much: history, beauty, gardens, architecture, craftsmanship, and the lost arts of hospitality. Sending you much Château Love! 🏰💖🍾🥰
Merry Christmas Vivienne & Simon! Thank you for showing us Chateau Gaillard and its charming host, Marc Lelandais. I loved the decorations. I can't wait to see it in Spring/Summer. I took away from all that splendor the idea we need to have a painting/photo of our beloved dog(s) and animals dressed in royal finery with a crown on their heads. In my case, I have Princess Dolly von Puppenhof (from the Court of Dolls), a long-haired golden chihuahua who plays the role perfectly! Have a joyous Christmas and New Year celebration! Much love from us.
It’s just on the radar because it was abandoned for many years, and only renovated a few short years ago. However, it is walking distance from the Château d’Amboise and Clos Lucé! Happy New Year! 💖
Thank you for the beautiful trip and education in history! I can always count on you to help show the world! I am stuck in Tennessee, and you know what that is like! I keep trying! Thank you for inspiring me! Hey Simon! Happy New Year! 🍾🎉🎈
Hello, lovely Fred!! I’d love to be stuck in Tennessee for a while…it’s beautiful and some of my favourite people live there!! Sending you huge hugs…💖🥰💖🏰🍾🥂
@@ChateauLove Thankyou ....and God bless all of you the best of health happiness and prosperity 🙏 ♥️♥️♥️🎄🎄🎄Have a marvellous New Year too ...looking forward to your beautifully composed vlogs .♥️

Merry Belated Christmas Vivienne, Simon & Isabella! I’m hoping the holiday was full of love and joyous laughter. Thank you for taking us along on your tour. Lots of love from the States❣️
It was a wonderful surprise to have the owner talk about his chateau. The Christmas decorations are very beautiful. Thank you for bringing us to this gorgeous chateau!! Merry Christmas from Vermont
Merry Christmas to you ivienne & Family!!! I was hoping to be able to see your Chateau all decorated for the Season!!! Perhaps you could still video some of your favouties for us al....
Hello DeeDee, don’t worry! It’s the next video!! We had a few sad setbacks this Christmas, so my videos are a bit delayed, but we are back in festive form and there are 12 Days of Christmas! We’re not quite done yet!! 💖💖💖
Such a beautiful tour of this stunning chateau. Always appreciate the history lessons of these beautiful places. Didn’t realize oranges were the forbidden fruit. And for Christmas, champagne of course. Thanks for taking us along and can’t wait to see it in the summer. Hope you had a lovely Christmas 🎄 🎁🎅😍😘
Thank you Vivienne, for showing me things I will probably never get to see otherwise. I am fascinated with France, Chateaux, Europe and the UK and Ireland. I researched my family ancestry and that has really stoked my interest in the lands across "the pond". Maybe one day I will travel beyond my own country but for now I am enjoying traipsing around the USA. Most recently the hubs and I visited the Shawnee National Forest in southern Illinois and it was magnificent! I had no idea it was even there and I live in northeastern Illinois! I believe Memphis is not very far from there, would you recommend a visit to Memphis? I think you said that's where you are from?
Hi Angela, southern Illinois sounds gorgeous. I love leaning about new places, too, and one day perhaps I will visit there! I do highly recommend Memphis and the Tennessee countryside. The architecture, history and -of course- music in Memphis are fabulous. Meanwhile, we are so happy you are joining us for our adventures across the pond! 💖💖
