The vineyard starts from Chateau located in Catusseau with gravelly sands (elevation: 24 m) and then climb to the top of the famous Pomerol tray (elevation: 35 m) with its gravelly clays where the famous clayey stoned famous clayey stoned tray: Pétrus, Trotanoy, Le Pin
It may be noted in passing that the rill called Mauvais Temps through the vineyard (the presence of an old washing) is necessarily less qualitative (Reductisol).
