I loved both artworks. It's amazing how you both had such different outcomes from the same 'work with ChatGPT' idea.

Ariel, your male character makes me think of a character who is typically intimidating and possibly scary, definitely physically capable. They are also an enormous teddy bear poppa who is far more clever than people expect, which they know and exploit for the benefit of their loved ones. I love this one.

I loooove the "Dumb" cartoon characters.... they're like something out of a Ren and Stimpy type show. Maybe Ed, Edd and Eddie crossed with Looney Tunes or something? Just silly animal characters going on funny adventures. :) Whenever you generate art from something random, good things always come of it. :)

Ariel doesn't seem to have same OR my face syndrome from what I've seen, but all of us creative types get into ruts. It's a factor, not a bug of being creative. I like the emotive qualities and subtle nuance of Ariel's portraiture.

The cast of DUMB really gives me 30s/40s OG Bugs & Daffy vibes, while I can totally see the plots and humor of episodes being a hybrid of 'Ed, Edd, & Eddy', 'Animaniacs', and 'Ren & Stimpy'. Maybe a pinch of 'Invader Zim' for flavour.

15:46 I actually disagree. it depends on what you’re practicing. Ofc, when focusing on form, or structure, or even likeness, it’s hard to get away with lineless in trad mediums. But subtle expression, mood, lighting, atmosphere, composition, flow, and generally anything more experimental, is SO fun to practice with lineless traditional. when I say “lineless” it aint quite true though; I use a ballpoint pen, but I THINK about it like it’s lineless. so, just begin by laying down some dark colour. Chisel away at it until there’s a face silhouette in the area not drawn on. soften edges and stuff with crosshatching. It’s a great excercise I think!

as a writer I find chat gpt/bard/et al is that the prompts are far too detailed. like it tries to give me most of a scene. I am staring at a blank word doc. give me a madlab that I can let my brain play with don't give me a full scene with a definitive ending. It has promise, but it's not great (yet)

I really loved this channel idea and you guys have made so many fun and interesting videos, but your continuing use and support of AI just makes me sad as an artist myself (and scared for the future of all artists). Sadly I can no longer support this channel in good conscience :(
