I’m not trans myself, but many of my close friends are trans (both MtF and FtM) so I have been trying to learn more about it over the years. This video has been great in my journey to learn more and all the interactions here are so wholesome 😊

I've been wanting to try out VRChat for a while and even went down a rabbit hole on RU-vid trying to learn how to model my own avatar based on myself with a PS1/PS2 style, but then I remembered that I have trouble talking to strangers 😅 I accidentally stumbled upon this channel today and between the pixelated avatar and that fact that my chosen name is Nora, this seems like a good opportunity to watch vicariously and see if VRChat is actually something I want to invest in lol

When the reality of chat is virtual

This video was probably uploaded a month or two after I visited this world in VRChat. I don't play the game that often and I'll admit my experience in this world didn't help me any more than usual. VRChat feels like a game where either you have friends and can hang out with them, or you don't, and you are pretty dang lonely because everyone just talks amongst themselves and you cant get a word in.

as someone who enjoys playing in vr and also enjoys the funny substances, only logically the two would collide, but sadly the visuals effects and such of LSD are lost when in vr. You can get a whole lot more immersed a lot easier and you still get the body high as well as the change in feeling of mind/self, but every time it just feels a bit like a let down when compared to when not in vr. I still enjoy it, but its sadly not as interesting as you would think. Pulling off the headset and all of your surroundings feeling less real than vr is a real trip though. Arguably the most fun part is once you are done in vr and you're starting to level out before the come down and you get to reflect on all that you just experienced while still enjoying the post peak part of your trip, especially if you're still hanging out with those friends in discord or something. You're still on acid, but for some reason the visuals you get from it, and consequently some of the wonder and other experiences/feelings those visuals bring, just doesn't really work with screens.

within the first 8 minutes i saw someone i was in a private world with, with a friend, they had body tracking, so i gotta ask, (sorry but im genuinely curious if its one of their friends that also has that avatar since i know they have a friend with full body tracking), was that mictacular at 8:04..?
