Thank Jer! I got stuck at an event last week where I couldn’t remember that last step (it’s not worded as such in the manual). Can’t believe I just needed to switch them to DMX. Makes sense why the manual does make a point that you can’t use DMX and M/S together. LOL
By using master slave you will need to use one light as a master or transmitter. Since this doesn't have a DMX cable you would have to program the lighting through the unit unless you are using DiFi.
They can be used for uplighting and we have used them in the past for uplighthing but typically we will use our full sized Freedoms for uplighting a wedding. Search my channel for Freedom H1 and you will see some of the past events we have used them for and the application.
