In this edition, we turn a local bar into the Gig Lab! Geoff visits Chit Chat's, a South Florida bar to check out the killer (wireless) light show the CHAUVET DJ team set up for the band Rough Shot (www.roughshotband.com). This band gig was lit using a combination of new CHAUVET DJ USB compatible fixtures, the FlareCON Air, ShowXpress and more! CHAUVET DJ lighting isn't just for DJs!

I watch these "light show examples" and it's 6-min of talk and hype (people listening to their own voices) and literally 25-SECONDS of "light show."

Glad to see Chauvet addressing the needs of working bands. However, we would like to see more of the band with the lights, and less talking heads.

Will the older 4BAR Tri units (i.e. non-USB) slave to the newer 4BAR Tri USB units?

Looked like a really wide wash with little real ability to focus or create a different look for a given song... otherwise show us...

The 4BAR Tri does not have any type of zoom and is a set beam angle. The CORE Par units have interchangeable lenses to change the beam angle. All these units can be controlled via DMX, or other control methods to create different looks based on your individual needs.
