I built one very similar for a local band about 10 years ago. We used 2 pair of Chauvets and 3 pairs of Stage Apes plus pars and strobes. Well done.

I really wish chauvet or GC would make a video detailing the ACTUAL differences between all the gig bars and 4bars. What is superior from one to the next step up. Brighter, plastic vs metal, improved features, wireless range, built in wireless or not, ect ect. It would be very helpful in making a decision on which one to buy.

Am I the only one that cannot get the moving heads to mirror each other? I feel like with all the modes they move in unison and are directed at the same point.

😅 Looks nice. I just wish that salespeople in Johannesburg listened … I walked in to buy the Gigbar 2 with ILS and got told by a smiling but rather condescending bloke that the Beamz Showbar would suit my purposes better (something about the rotating heads being more if a nuisance than a benefit) … so I walked out and bought the Beamz Shownar, Partybar, and two rotating heads.

I Love the gig bar idea but hate the derby and laser, I would trade the Derby for two similar Wash fx hex the laser I can live with

i completely agree! I dont like the derbys at all. Inact I wish it was just moving heads & LED cans + the white spots. I understand from Chauvet you can remove the derbys & lazer and it still works without issue

Do Not buy this gig bar. It let me down on Two important Events one was a Wedding and other was last night Dec 3,2022 at a Birthday party. Dam thing Always ask for software Updates. And just doesn't work I'm taking it back to Guitar Center on Monday. 😫😤🤬

Did you take it back? What did they say? I have the gigbar 2. Been wanting to upgrade for a while now, but this thing is listed at $1,299. It's a big investment for lights. Almost the price of a controller.

You know I took it back that Monday Dec5th . Guitar Center was really good about taking it back.They called Chauvet when I was there and they said it was a defective software. Chauvet assured me it shouldn't happen again. SO Chauvet convinced me to try another Gigbar ILS so I did so far its working fine with No Issues.

DO NOT BUY !! I have gone through 3 of them due to the cheap glue they use in the laser mirror !! I bought one and laser mirror fell off during gig . Returned it and got a new one same issue happened . My 3rd one i hand carried the laser in bubble wrap and still the mirror fell off

I never had this problem and I owned these units for years. Stop spreading misinformation.. take care of your equipment.

@@mojo678you must have not read my comment. i clearly hand carried the laser to an event if this was a user issue CHAUVET wouldn’t send me new ones for that reason . It’s common issue even a local dj store in Maryland display one has the mirror fallen off .
