Part 1 covers using one light fixture, getting familiar with the values of lighting effects, and creating an individual scene.
If you only plan to use only 1, 2 or 3 lighting fixtures this may not be the product that you want to purchase, consider getting a more basic keyboard. The Obey 70 is a universal intelligent lighting controller. It allows the control of 12 fixtures composed of 32 channels each and up to 240 programmable scenes. Six chase banks can contain up to 240 steps composed of the saved scenes and in any order. Programs can be triggered by music, midi, automatically or manually. Channel assignments can be reprogrammed for ease of controlling different fixture. Almost all of your lighting will involve programming scenes, chases, etc.
Select Fixture #1
Use sliders 1 through 5 for creating a scene.
Slider 1 creates lighting effects for the desired colors
Slider 2 creates strobe
Slider 3 creates Auto program speed
Slider 4 Rotation
Slider 5 Dimmer (from no lighting to bright lights)
Turn the control panel on.
Turn off the "Black out" light
Select Fixture 1
Use the 5 sliders to create the desired lighting effect(s)
To create a scene:
Enter program mode (press and hold the program button for 3 seconds)
Select the fixture(s)
Use the sliders (to create the scene)
When the desired look has been achieved, press MIDI/ADD
Use Bank up/down to select a desired bank (30) possible to save the scene to.
Once you have navigated to the desired bank, press the Scene ( 1 - 8 ) to save the scene to.
All LEDs will flash to indicate that the scene has been saved.
