Bravissimo!!!! That aria deserved a standing ovation.

Wow, i hope this young tenor is the next generation of opera singers. It seems like kaufmann, gheorghiu, florez, stemme, westbroek, terfel, pape, ect... are all getting to their 50's. We need someone great to fill in their places so that it doesnt feel so tragic once the current greats pass on.

Jonathan, I am just loving what you are doing with your voice. I am a tenor going on 40 years and still singing fairly well at age 65. The best bit of advice I can give you is to not push yourself too far and too fast. Your voice is a gift from G-d, and it will be with you for many years if you take very good care of it. Your vibrato is perfect, which tells me your technique is excellent. I have seen many singers, including myself, push their tenor voices too far too soon and in short order, they start wobbeling like and old man. Take care of your gift. Please!!! I hope to see you live in the operat house soon!

I must have listened to this 50 times in the past week. I marvel at the tepid reaction from the audience. I would have been on my feet immediately. What an amazing performance. I need this man’s voice in my life.

Went to the Berkshires from Palm Beach to hear his Rigoletto last night, on the chance that this was our new star tenor,and was not disappointed. Thrilling production, bare bones staging but psychologically brilliant, conductor who understood how to shape with tempi and dynamics, lovely Gilda and powerful Rigoletto. And Tetelman is indeed a star, not a huge voice but soaring with special beauty above the staff - can’t imagine he was ever a baritone. He must have a terrific teacher, who gave him that easy production, clear diction and the ability to express everything from braggadocio to romantic, melting tenderness. Plus despite his extreme height, he moves like a panther. It will be fun to watch his career!

Surely this man is destined for a great career in opera. This was a magnificent rendition, the high C apparently effortless and easily sustained. I haven't heard a better rendition in the last 10 years.

Bravo! I’ve heard this aria performed by some of the all-time greats, and I think Jonathan is wonderful. He was scheduled to be in La Boheme in Seattle this May, and I was hoping to see him perform live. Sadly, the entire production had to be canceled due to the coronavirus.

My favorite version is from Alagna, years ago. But this is quite brilliant indeed. Mr. Tetelman adds some more bravura with the depth of his range and commanding melody. He's actually bending notes, from what I detect. Wonderful.

Incredible ongoing power with wonderful tone; "Chi Son, Chi Son"! knocks you out, he sings it like its climactic, unbelievably ringing and moving, not a million miles away on those top Bs and Cs from Pavarotti, beautiful buzzing, ringing timbre when it is coming straight through the whole skull. Wow!!

I just came across this video. Wow!! This is my favorite aria, and you sang it perfectly!! Your voice is so beautiful, such amazing quality and character!! I've never heard of you, I usually stick with Pavarotti or Bocelli if I want to listen to music. I'm so glad I stumbled on this video!! Bravo sir!! You're an excellent tenor for this new age!!

¿No les pasa que a veces cuando alguien sabe de algún tema y luego lo escucha o lo ve ejecutándose este se predispone a criticar? ¿Se puede volver a disfrutar del arte simplemente o solo cuando se es "perfecto"?, lo digo porque conozco gente de otros rubros que hace lo mismo y a veces inconscientemente … pareciera que simplemente dejarse emocionar se hace más difícil cuando se sabe en profundidad de algún tema. Outstanding! Approaches Pav in my opinion in power at least. He will be a force to be reckoned with in the future....and for now, he has still work to do. His voice is still in development and, in time, will refine as he learns how to better control his breathing and, in turn, his power.
