W211s are excellent cars. I have an E55 and just picked up an E500 lowered on coilovers with AMG wheels, E55 front and rear bumpers, and C63 quad tips out back. They’re fun and good looking cars.
I love your car bro! She was lucky to fall under your ownership. I’m about to pull the trigger on a 06 E500 with 135K miles for $3400. She’s super clean with the exception of a busted up front bumper that I intend to replace. Your video has motivated me even further to be a good steward of her once I pull the trigger.
@@laqueenawilliams4762I got a 2003 RWD E500 last august, I’ve so far rebuilt the front end (Amazon kit for $250), and have to do some air suspension work in the rear. Aside from minor convenience related things, or small light bulbs. She’s been really fun to drive, and has been decent enough on gas. I’d recommend you stay away from the 7 speed 4Matic cars as they have transmission issues.
At least I am not the only one guy who likes to save old wrecks from the scrapyard. I own a W211 2004 and had a lot of work for it and had to do a engine swap and many more. Nice car and keep up the work man, the W211 if treated properly will repay you în full.
that blue interior is beautiful, and super rare! love the car man… these are awesome! i have an 05 E320 and it’s got some stuff that needs fixing but nothing too bad.
I have a 2003 Mercedes benz E500 with 144000 miles suspension bad changing over to BC struts to give it a good stance I enjoy the car, your's look Amazing!!! 😊
I recently purchased a 2005 e500 with the amg sport package for 1300!. 155k. She was slammed on the ground, air pump not working. Replaced the airpump relay and it came to life!
I have the exact same one! I’ve replaced all air bags and air bag motor twice, instrument cluster all rotors and three of the four arms! Just to show you how much I love the car 🚙
About to go get an 03 e500 clean body one owner starts and runs but doesn’t move. Needs a transmission, probably a radiator. Also have to fix the suspension but for the price I feel it’s hard to pass it up especially for the asking price.
@@automotiveapprentice yeah I got the car ot super clean just needed som TLC. It’s still on the Trailer though. Fortunately the air ride was just fine just had a pin hole rubbed in the air line before the manifold I repaired that and the suspension aired right up and held just fine. Put a new T-stat and coolant temp sensor in it but the coolant still gauge maxes out soon as u start the car regardless. I hope be able to order a transmission and radiator for it in a few months or so.
Love the wheels. AND love that it is not a sport model. Mine has sport package. Rides way to rough. Airmatic works fine but it still has a crappy ride I think. I especially loved your color combination that is classic Mercedes
Hey bro, regards fron Mex, just bought a 4kusd E320, 2004, lots of issues here and there. How can we get in contact? Would like to get some wisdom on finding parts. Best!
Thinking of buying a 2005 CLK 500 cabriolet with some drivers rear quarter panel damage. Tree fell on it. Still drivable. Top works. 117,000 miles for $1,500
@@automotiveapprentice no, sold before I could get to it. Ended up getting an older Mercedes. 1992 500SL. I’ve since sold it and now I have a 2004 e500 wagon.
Yo I’m buying a e500 and I want to upgrade it as well. I’m picking it up in jersey to bring it to NY. Wanna help me upgrade it? Or suggest any parts I could do to upgrade it.
Did you end up getting the car? I have actually relocated to South Carolina. I will be updating the channel with an update on my E500. A lot has happened to the car. Some good, some not so good.
Hey A.A. do you still have your E500? I wanna know if its reliable & worth the maintenance because i found one for $1,500 with 147k and i just wanna make sure its a good buy.
Hey, your Mercedes looks good and am sure it’ll fit me better. If you want to sell it, you have a buyer already because am in love with the car already.
Spend the money on an example that has been better maintained. Don’t try and save someone else’s disaster. I need to make an update video on this car about all the trouble it’s given me. I love the car there is still a lot wrong, though.
If you did buy it, make sure to do your basic maintenance. Check the engine mounts and make sure they’re good. If the car has airmatic suspension keep that in mind, it’s not if it breaks, it’s when.
thinking about getting a E500 Lorinser Edition 5.0L V.8 going for $6,900 looks super nice and clean but has high miles 189,591 do you guys thing it’s worth it ? will the engine at least last me 2 more years ? just tryna buy something rn for a daily
@@automotiveapprentice may I ask how reliable it is? I just got one in a trade and it has 136k on the clock. How many miles does yours have. Any major issues since you’ve had it?
