Cheap Amazon Mask VS RZ Mask for Lawn Care

I have 2 of the RZ Masks and don't use them for that reason. The air leakage fogging my glasses. Guess it just fits everyone differently. Great vid as always Kevin!

Great video great input must AGREE 100% my biggest beef was cheap plastic nose clip . Will tell you this given my wife is a nurse I took off a few aluminum nose clips from her N95 masks and modified it to my cheap ebay mask with double sided 3M tape . Must say the adjustment seal 100% times better now .

I purchased alot of those Amazon Sport/dust masks during Covid 19. I was able to get a package deal where one could get 5 masks, 10 filters and extra ventilators all for the price of 1 RZ mask. They do have aluminum nose pieces covered with plastic on the outside. These were the only masks available at one time during the Covid 19 virus. It was either these masks or no mask. I still use these style mask when doing outside yard work because they protect me very well from pollen and allergies. I do own several RZ masks but I haven't gotten around to using them yet and I still have plenty of the Amazon masks available for future use. These mask also work very well when painting and especially when spray painting. In the cold weather months, my eye glasses have a tendency to fog up and that is another reason why I prefer to use a Sport/dust mask over a regular mask. When the nose clip is fitted and adjusted properly, my eye glasses won't fog up and these masks also keep one's face nice and warm during the cold weather season.

I have the rz mask. I like it more in the cold weather. i use the wolfsnout during the summer.

I bought an RZ mask at Lowe's for $45 thats with tax. I like it.

I have the one from Amazon, if you look at the nose piece it does a aluminum inside the plastic. Look at it closely. It's there. The masks holds up well. I haven't a problem with the mask.

The nose clamp rivets on my RZ developed severe rust with les than six months of use. RZ refused to stand behind the product claiming it was out of warranty. I am looking for other options.

I just bought the RZ. It came with the mask shell, two filters, carry case and I bought 3 extra filters. They also gave me a free extra filter so I have a total of six filters for a total cost of $34.00 and shipping was free.

Couple questions about the RZ mask since you mentioned you have no issues with leakage. Can the mask last a long enough time before I have to change the filter and can the mask protect against bad smells that happen to be produced from other people, very bad smells of garbage, the toxic smells that come from vehicles or cars, and can it protect in a foggy outdoor scenario where the air outside is not good to breath?

My original M1 does not have the foam piece on the nose part of the filter. All my other masks and replacement filters do have that foam.

Nice review. I love my RZ but wish I had gotten the one with a head strap because they do tend to slide a bit. Have you tried any of the balaclava style face masks with filters?

i bought a cheaper one from amazon and love it. I don't remember the brand (if it has any) but the strap part has a longer belt crow and you can adjust it better around your head. Also, the strap has a loop on both sides that goes around your ears and makes the mask more comfortable to use cause it won't fall down from your face. On the down side; its hot when you use it. i dont have filters for it and i just wash the one i have, but it changed color for some reason.. maybe the carbon material inside?

Unless you've adjusted the ports before you made the video please be advised that your ports appear to be pointed in the wrong direction on the amazon model. The fins should point down. I use mine daily and it does make a difference. The ports are suppose to direct you exhale down and away from you eyes.

I'm not a rz mask fan, I have ordered 2 different sizes, neither fit right. Glasses fog up and they fall down off of my face.

The RZ mask is selling on Ebay for $75 + Shipping right now, because everyone knows it's the best, and safest.

I have both you can change out the nose piece. I have the M2 mesh and The neoprene I think M1 The Neoprene is cooler and easier to clean. You have to be careful with the mesh M2 the Velcro is pretty strong and if it gets stuck to the mesh part it creates lint balls and kinda tears the mesh apart. The F1 filters the same contaminants as the F2 and F3. The difference is the F2 and F3 have better breath ability. the F3 filters oders. Where the F1 and F2 do not. They are worth the money especially since they are easier to get a hold of.

At $35 it's not that expensive. Dust masks are an important tool. If you are using this for your livelihood you should always buy the best tool you can afford. These things are not something you use once and throw away soon after. If you have to use something all day, everyday, then might as well use something that gives you the best value.gotta remember to buy from companies that actually spent their time and effort to develop their products and not from ones that just steal someone else's idea and sell it for cheap.

Can you breath good with those masks? ‘Cause I have the cheap ones that doesn’t have wholes on the sides to breath ‘cause when I got them add my face and my nose it’s all sweat 😤

Good video. My ZG mask from amazon has an aluminum noise piece so it works great. Maybe you got a bad one. I would contact amazon and tell them you need another.

I bought one of these kind of masks on Amazon. Took over a month to get it (due to COVID-19). These are made for women and little Asian faces. Too small for a male Caucasian face. Fortunately, I got a full refund (then ended up getting the masks anyway). I’m going to try to make it work.
