Ah wow! I had an Amiga 500 Batman Pack Xmas 1990!!! Loved that computer! I may have to invest when I see a good one on ebay. I used to use magazine disks to learn how to make custom intros and add music and menus to compilations. Happy days. Do you have Jukebox PD disks?
Yea happy days, get yourself another Amiga and relive those nostalgic moments, so fun. I don’t do much in pd disks but have a nice collection of magazine disks, beautiful art on them 😊
Nice video! What joystick is that with the auto-fire? Us old guys definitely need the auto-fire for lack of thumb dexterity ! Also what is your video out setup?
Thanks buddy, it’s a quick joy sv-131 joystick, yeah autofire is a MUST 😊😊 I just use normal Amiga rgb out to scart stick cable, it’s be best video results I have seen
It's hard to explain to someone how awesome the Amiga is without them experiencing one for real. Some day I would love to get all of mine fixed and send them out to people so they can understand how amazing they are. I've been enjoying using a super cool new joystick on my A1200, the Immortal Joystick! You can see me using it in my most recent streams.
Cammy, Allways love to see you here. Well part of Amiga awesomeness today IS the nostalgic love we have for them cuz we grew up with them. That’s hard to experience today. But yes I still love the Amiga. 📺🕹️🇩🇰
Bellissimo video!.il mitico A500 e' l'AMIGA con il piu alto tasso di compatibilita software,ed e' uno degli AMIGA che mi stanno piu a cuore,da sempre.adoro il rev.6!
To my knowledge, the 500+ has rev 8a and the non-plus with ECS (like this one) has rev 8a.1 and not 8a. Probably because they had schematics allready but not 8a boards. So the extra 1 might be a rerun of the PCB. Personally I only see the revision number as the only thing that are different. I dont know if there are anything else that are different. Anyway..... Yeah. Basically a 500 is all you need for most amiga games. 500 with 512k. If you have monitor issues, or can not find either a CRT or a LCD like yours. Then get an RGB2HDMI upgrade as well, and if you dont want floppies to take up space or for some other reason dont want floppy, then get one of them gotek drives.
I played Lotus II on a stock amiga 500 recently and I think the whdload-version performs better with an 020/030 card (more FPS), but floppy disks are still awesome 😃
@@RETROCENGOExactly.... Some Amiga users have this bizarre idea that 030 are the only thing to get and then everything is a bliss. However they are few and far between. Yeah, sure 030 for the 1200, but that machine simply just scream WHD-Loader. The 500 is a different story. Anyway.... I dont think the dude are an Amiga user. Something in his words tell me he is not.
@@RETROCENGO Else there are a third way. Do you remember the Relokick? The disk we used on 500+ and 600! It loaded, then rebooted and then you had kick 1,3 ready in ram. We also used it on the 1200. But did not work that well, due to AGA. I think only 70 percent of games worked on 1200 with relokick. Something with features in the early boot menu, that had to be turned off. But my memory are vague as to what exactly.
I truly do not understand your comment. Back in the 80"s the Commodore platform was the preferred platform for many TV Stations and other digital medias for CGI. You must be very young? 🙂
3D gaming or 3D rendering? 3D rendering of course, it is not enough, because it takes longer on a stock 500. But there are 3D rendering software, that runs on stock 500 and gives you 80's quality result. After all, it is 1985 technology.
Cheapest route if you want a real Amiga. If you want to play with 3D rendering you will want a faster Amiga with more memory, but that was also the case back in the day.
