I've done almost the same in the past. The vials I found at my local dollar tree equivalent were double the size of those in the video. I did not fill them with glue, though... instead, I filled them with different juices. Red grape juice for healing potions, green tea mixed with green woodruff syrup for antidotes, and so on. When a player decided to use a potion, they drank a shot's worth of juice or sweetened tea and used the empty vials to mark their potions as 'used'.

Gluing half the label then applying the glue to the other half after its on the jar like that just changed my life. I shall never have gluey fingers again! (maybe)

Look I get it, he does good work as is one of the OG of DnD crafting on RU-vid so I am putting all respect on the name that is deserved. However, this channel isn't being run in a way that plays well with the algorithm. He posts infrequently, doesn't follow patterns, doesn't have a set topic except "crafting" and "DnD" (which covers a wide base of content possibilities, and our hobby is niche when compared to other topics. It's not that there's some "grand conspiracy" or the like, it is what it is. Chasing the algorithm is a grind and Scotty doesn't do what the algorithm rewards. Even with that, he's got 76k more followers than 98-99% of the accounts on this site. You know building a RU-vid channel and a follower count is, hard right? People somehow got it twisted somewhere along the way where you have to have like a million followers or the content is trash tier and that somehow if your stuff is great it will magically just happen. Nah. His stuff is really good, because he sure as shooting doesn't work his channel in a way that rewards him. SEO, video length, regularity in uploads, thumbnails, trending topics, proper collabs, outreach, abusing the shorts and community tabs These things are foreign here. These things are also what the platform rewards. TLDR cult of personality + random number counts =\= good content. Good content =\= "success". There's a system in place, don't play by it, don't grow simple as that.

These look great. Another good trick for applying labels to glass and other surfaces is to apply double sided scotch tape (I use 3M) to the paper and then trim the label down to where the entire back is double sided tape, then stick on.

Hey DM Scotty, I made these recently because of your video. I filled ours with different colored sprinkles so my players could un-cork and literally eat the contents of the potion. It was a big hit over the weekend. Thanks for another great video.
