At $2 a round and not widely available i say no. I would say something in 22lr,556,223,9mm,7.62x39 would be your best choice.

I was skeptical before I saw a carcanno. Also I watched Oswald deny it or even what they were charging him for on live TV after the police beat him. Jack ruby wa allowed in to execute him later ,Also caught live on film.

Entry level PSA AR is the only sane budget choice, simply because of ammo alone, pmags and 5.56 ammo is much more affordable than 6.5 Carcano ammo and will be more effective overall. I’m sticking with an AR and I recommend everyone else do the same.

If you can get the original military bullets ,the 156-163 grain ,flat base round nose fmj @ about 2450 fps... you can take down everything that walks and flies.

I wonder if it would be at all viable to get a surp rifle like that re-chambered to as similar a common round as possible, probably not though.

Yes i want a rifle that i haven't seen but maybe 2 boxes of ammo for in my life. Just looking on line 40 a box for the cheapest. 😅

It’s a cool looking rifle, but that’s about it. My M44 looks cool too, but it is ten times more practical.
