The only problem with lowering my car... I live in michigan and hitting potholes would actually destroy it 😅 I love the tips though! Definitely will have to consider a few of these!(:
I love how you talk about wrapping being so easy. As a vehicle wrap installer I can say it's really not as easy as you make it sound lol. But love the videos, keep it up
Trust me I tried it and i learned something with my ex bf as he did that professionally. It's definitely not easy to wrap a car. At least not the right way
I 2nd that, my first attempt at even a slight tint on tail lights, I got angry and ripped it off.. Little did I realise a part was on the paint, and I ripped a perfect triangle off down to bare metal, persistence, patience and the correct tools are key.
What I noticed recently is that a lot of BMWs are debadged. Maybe they don't want people to know that they're rolling in a cheap 3 Series with a 4 banger...
yeah or they just like a cleaner look. I debadged one of my M3's... so you can look at debaging both ways.. to hide a slow car... or to hide a high performance car.
Some people add M badges to their crappy BMW to brag that they have an M car.I'm sick of this.I've seen this in so many BMW.Even if tou buy a BMW M240i it looks like you got a regular 2-series and you decided to stick an M badge
The first "mod" I do is fix all the tiny issues that resulted from years of owner neglect. Funny thing is the suspension is usually shot. That means my first mod is upgrading to coilovers.
American Pride technically they are modifications, but car mods actually change the performance of the car. Wrapping your roof black does nothing and makes you look stupid.
IQOTD: Probably suspension, then wheels and tyres. Lower suspension reduces body roll and improves the feel of the car and handling, while lighter rims reduce weight and the looks of the car and tyres keeps you nice and steady
Rims are my first go to😂 just a couple days ago I finished installing a clutch in my 2005 Audi A4 and I immediately went to a buddy of mine to get my new touren rims mounted and balanced!!!
You forgot to mention window tint.... I know most cars have it but I think it should be considered one of the cheap mods because it does make a big difference....
I’ve really never understood the hate on wood trim I have a turbo 1997 e36 m3 vert and I have wood trim and it totally fits my style five bbs rims I love it! It goes with the classic e36 body style so well. Unpopular opinion fake carbon fiber is kinda ricer to me.🤷♂️ (just my opinion)
Honestly when getting a new car the first thing to do is fluid change and i mean everything from engine to dif. Afterwards fix up anything that needs fixing and then go with body modifs if you are into those since engine work might be too much for many people.
Tyres and rims sound system interior and paint job suspension brakes exhaust engine and stickers with my name or logo across the car plus weight reduction
My first mod was wrapping my entire car, second mod was a carbon fiber hood, third was wheels and tires, fourth was stereo, fifth was a front lip, and carbon fiber diffuser. Chose not to get coil overs for functionality.
This man is great, I swear i can't tell if he's being sarcastic half the time.. but seeing the comments go ballistic do make my day. There has to be a sense of gratification when he says "stances miatas run like they are on rails" then watching y'all lose your marbles
Since when I added a front spoiler lip my car has at least 20 more hp. No, really, if you're looking for a real cheap mod, buy one of them, it changes the look of the car making it much sporty-er
I always do suspension first. If you get your wheels first, how do you KNOW they will fit once you lower it. I am always pushing the limits of what will fit under the fenders of my cars. Doing it this way has saved my a$$ more than once! One time Discount had to Take back a one-off set of Forgelines because the 19X12” With 335/30 19 rears wouldn’t fit. (They needed about another 3/8” backspacing to fit). If I had gotten the wheels first, I would never have caught the issue, and I would be out 6K for wheels (Or at least another 2k in rear wheels with the proper backspace)
I was able to carbon fibre wrap my boot door, roof, and bonnet for $54, hehe, thanks eBay. you'd prolly think its low quality, but its actually rly good.
I thought.. Well, okay, some easy "do it yourself" stuff than I got to 5:42 and you lost me talking about that lowered over chamber in a 'go fast performance way' ....
Just my opinion / thoughts that bug me and is subjective for other people: Slammed excessive camber cars look so bad, I don't see how people think they look good, very low with a slight camber to increase cornering is still good but you do not need that much excessive camber. If you drift or want a higher top speed going straight due to less grip / track friction then sure, but outside of that it will ruin your grip and your handling (unless you want to drift or have loose handling and grip), it will severely wear down your tire life, and it will make bumps and rough terrain not the smoothest ride while you're car rides on its shock bumps (or the wheel if you set it too low even with a body mod or lip curl to fit the tire, but of course adding the camber will allow you to go lower too since it's at an angle). I do not see the aesthetic appeal of it, it makes the car look very bad and "cheazy" / not like a professional or high performance modded and designed sport car. It's unsafe for street driving and should only really be used IMO on drift cars for the track.
Nooo CHEAP lowering springs are bad for FACTORY shocks... C’mon man. Don’t tell these people “buy lowering springs!!” Then show pictures of a FRS on $3k bags... smh
I have a 1999 b5 1.9tdi a4 saloon and when I will buy another car then the a4 is going into project car status. First mods would be, suspension (2-3 inch lower) wheels, ecu remap, straight pipe, maybee down the line a bigger turbo and an intercooler
So I hot myself a used i30 1,6 crdi a few days ago and I’m gonna pick it up on Thursday I already know my first add-on will be one of those rubber lips just for anti-scratching purposes :)
This guy doesn’t really know what he’s talking about, none of these are really mods and lowering your car with good suspension isn’t “just a couple hundred dollars” and what happened to respecting ALL builds 🤦♂️
Me with my 1998 Golf gti XD! bought it for 1.9k euros and it got like 150hp and i would love to upgrade everything on it to get it up to 300hp and also tinted windows wider body and more small details but it wouldnt be that smart because its cheap and super old car :( also this is my first car and im 17 with license. (Legal license age 18 at finland) but with a good reason you can get it for 17 :D
Lowering does increase the handling on the car but when you go to the extreme camber that does not improve handling it actually makes it worse because you’re riding on less of your tire than intended if that’s your look that’s OK but no you do not get better handling with extreme camber this is coming from a mechanic for 25 years
Covering Break Calipers with Paint or didn't know about covers, since clearance with wheels are issue. Anyway, covering them is like applying a blanket to your Break System. It won't allow the breaks to cool and work efficient. Since, clearance was addressed i don't like adding weight to the vehicle so don't like Spacers one time 2 of them cracked and caused violent shaking on the vehicle, they loosened the lug nuts. Dropping any car on my driveway won't clear my up hill slope of driveway as it is it occasionally scrapes or bottoms out with a passenger. in stock ride
Haha first preformance mods a $15 spector filter then get a saw and cut the springs then get a $30 fartcan that sounds like a pissed off bee and a sticker that says Honda even if it isn't a honda because that sticker alone will add 20+hp ooooh yeah LOL
First mod is to figure out if it's got a good sounding exhaust option. That's what I do. Otherwise it's wheels and than the best bang per buck performance mods.
First mod, which isnt really a mod, but still comfort feel and looks, seat covers, my stock seats were grey, and car is white so ew, got leather seat covers which have white stitching so looks 100x better and is alittle more cushioned
This guy can't go one video without talking about his damn Porsche, and his love for those stanced Miatas is appalling at best. Should have called this Ricer Media.
lowering your car seems like an idiotic idea. most use their project as a daily driver. watched my brother in law everyday.... took 15 minutes just to pull in the driveway lol
