Pizza union is amazing!!!! You can also go to Basement Tea Rooms in stables market at Camden and have tea time experience on a budget

Thank you for this video! I'm actually going to England next month, and I'll be visiting London for the last 2-3 days of the trip. I will have to keep these places in mind especially that last one! I really enjoyed this style of video too!

@@aWanderlustForLife We went to a Shakespeare play at the RSC in Stratford upon Avon in July and saw David Tennant and his wife at the interval ! Love him, saw him on stage in Richard 11, superb. He’s back in Dr Who soon in the UK

I'm glad you got out to travel. One suggestion when it's too loud in a place and it's bothering you don't talk do a voiceover. You can show the pie illustrate take a bite show that you like it or not but you could do a voiceover in that way you don't have to worry about it.

Great video! I love the organic nature of this vlog. I'll be visiting London in a week's time and am so excited. Question - you mentioned the tea you tried to make in your hotel room tastes icky... is it because the tap water doesn't taste good? I've heard London tap water is not tasty lol.

That's a good thought! Though I think I drank the tap water without tea as well, so I really don't know. It was a very bizarre experience. The tea was yellow not brown. Just glad I didn't keep drinking and got a delicious one from a shop 😁

Really hard to find cheap eats or hotels in an area of London that gives easy access to sites. Transport is expensive. Well your on holiday so factor in extra cost for the country and capital city. Main Museums are free. I am a Londoner, back to Haarlem in 2024, loaded up already with Euros.

In London, they had the Doctor Who Time Fracture and that is closed. But they keep teasing something new. I'd suggest following them on Instagram for any updates. instagram.com/dwtimefracture These things don't seem to stay open long 😔

Hello Jessica, I have a ton of questions that I can't necessarily seem to find the answers on and I would love to be able to ask them.. Everyones answers is appreciated: these are all specific to the Netherlands 1) The tax system seems straight forward, except if you have a pensions/retirements/Social Security/disability coming from the U.S. Is it taxed by the US or the Netherlands? what about Social Security from the US? is it at the roughly 50%? 2) The tax rate is a bit shocking, however, I'm coming to the idea that maybe it's because you don't ALSO get taxed everywhere else? (i.e. high cell phone taxes, food taxes, etc..) you pay a majority upfront and I've just become desensitized to it at this point. Is this more accurate? I'll stop there for now.. thank you to anyone who may have the answers..

That was my understanding that the always used £. I've never traveled outside the US. When the euro came into play, this always confused me.

@@andrewclarke3622 Ah, I understand! London is expensive no matter the currency. Meaning, it's expensive for those who live and work there, as well. If you are planning to travel there, it's best to have a general comparison in your head (£ vs $) or simply use a currency converter app. I use XE. A long time ago, the dollar was favorable, but that's not the case anymore which does make it more expensive. I hope that helps a bit more!
