Cheap Joe's 2 Minute Art Tips - Ward and Julie - The 2 Amigos

Ok, this is not your typical 2 Minute Art Tip. In fact it's a 24 minute art tip with Julie and her special guest Ward Jene Stroud.
The format is simple, Ward paints on a painting started by Julie and Julie paints on a painting started by Ward.
Along the way Ward demos his amazing Brusho technique, Julie paints lipstick on a fish and that odd background noise off camera, that sounds like a dragon breathing, is finally revealed.
Most of all, it's just plain fun. Also, both paintings were donated to the local homeless shelter in Boone, N.C. (the home of Cheap Joe's and where this video was filmed), The Hospitality House.

LOVED the fun interaction between you two! No matter when a person watches, whether for the first time at the time of creation...... or a few time frames down the road...it’s ALWAYS fun, informative, interesting new concepts and the learning process never stops! Thank you all so much.... I even enjoy waking up the a new “ding” and I see there’s a new 2 minute video from you all and I have to press the play button right away! I’m so glad I found this RU-vid video and many others you have also created. I like the relaxed environment. I have so much trouble getting started I actually get very anxious so I’m working through that to finally get my art on paper.

Hey guys!!! We used to live in Boone and my hubby worked at CJ’s!! This place is amazing the last time we visited we saw the store which was not there when we lived there. If you are vacationing in Boone NC please go see the store it’s awesome!!

This was awesome. I live in Aiken, SC, and hope to sometime take classes at Cheap Joe's....maybe with Ward Jene Stroud. I bought my first Brusho thru Joanne Boon Thomas many years ago, when I joined Art Tutor. Haven't done much with it since. Guess I better drag them out and play with them.
