After staying a week in El Poblado, Medellin, Colombia, I lay out the cheapest of El Poblado when it comes to restaurants, foods, and hostels. El Poblado is known to be very expensive relative to the rest of Medellin, Colombia, but I was determined to make it a cheap stay.

that breakfast is a little expensive... i think it really costs like 5000 or 6000 pesos... you can go to a D1 store a buy cheap food with good quality

there are many outdoor gym in Medellin and they`re all free. The one in the video is in El Poblado (neighbourhood)

Rb S i have heard a lot of both.. but by far the most common response to 'gracias' i hear is 'con gusto'

RB S: Listo means okay and/or ready depending on how you use it. Thank you= gracias, con mucho gusto (it is a pleasure), or the people who are more traditional like my grandma used to be may say mi Dios le pague (God pay you back). They all mean thank you.

Stray Wuan it is a heavily subsidized mail system. It should charge real world prices or become a private company to survive. It gets like 18 billion a year from taxpayers. That money should be used on something more useful like middle eastern wars 😂😂😂

Curious about the sign with the high heel shoe "Not Tourist Sexual". I am assuming it is at the hostel, but what does it mean? Is "tourist sexual" referring to prostitutes? Or is sex generally prohibited at hostels. I guess if you are in a room with 7 beds that would not be too conducive to sex. Are there sex rooms in any of the hostels, like a separate room with one double bed. And what do you do if you meet a lady one night at a bar, or even if you meet a lady at the hostel?

yea, that is what the sign is referring to. and to answer the other question most hostels offer private rooms, but they tend to be more expensive than simply getting a hotel room. my current hotel is about 9 bux a night

IN colombia, medellin. there is a lot of Motels. but the concept is very different from the american MOTEL. here you got to the motel to have a very nice time with a lady o many jeje depends. therefore you will find MOTELS with many services, such as incorporated private jaccuzzi, chair of love, and many things. from about 15 dollars for a couple of hours.

In a place like "InMedellin Hostel", are your roommates coming and going all the time at all hours? I would wake up every time someone came down from the top of those beds. For me, a private room is probably better.

Thank you. The part about "quiet" had me sold, but I had to cruise all the comments hoping for a name (not Utopiadest, which is seen on a wall somewhere), and here is the name waaaay down by the bottom!. I suggest spitting it out straight away, but kudos to you for the video anyway. Hope you are enjoying whatever adventure you are currently up to.
