Cheap Plasma Cutter from Amazon but not the cheapest

I have pretty much the same plasma cutter I haven't used it too much lately but I bought it to clean stainless and a few other projects I've got in mine this was a good video

I happened to get the orange version of this same machine (just was on a better sale that day, no color preference). If you ever have issues with your pilot arc function, the little connector on mine with the red screw knob easily slips off the lug even fully tightened. I put a washer behind it to fill up some room but may just go to a brass nut next time I'm at the hardware store.

I grew up scrapping one of.my best friends dad was a huge scraper . But he didn’t sell much he was more a hoarder lol… but I spent many a days when it was rainy or too cold we’d be in his dads shed tearing down what ever he found!

In 2019 I bought a Westinghouse generator 4700 watt for our camper it was clearance at northern tool for 699.00 omg it’s clean power I hated my 3 car garage didn’t have 220:and the wanted 5000.00 bucks to run it out there so the generator has been a blessing !

You finally got one, hell yeah!

with that plasma you can cut the sides out of refrigerators and sell the square cut well sheets on craiglist materials for twice the scrap price

Howdy from ND. I've been down in your area. Had friends in Chandler. Sure saved money scrapping with a plasma cutter. I run a welding shop and am a tank return site for American Welding and Gas. A VAM acetylene bottle is about 165 dollars now. Consumables for that cutter are considerably cheaper.

You could have some nice 38 if you cut that cord and cleaned the electric motor. 38 is everywhere

youre pilot arc notre work properly, replace cheap wire along hose, sametime replace swicht wire too before fail

Morning Okie Scraper

Is this a pilot arc cutter or do you have to scratch the tip to get the arc started?

I have a small wire welder that plugs into a 110 "30 amp" it works great but after awhile it starts tripping my breaker. A plasma cutter will dice through aluminum and stainless steel!

I am not sure your pilot arc is working properly. The pilot arc on my Cut50DP from Primeweld will ignite itself instantly without touching it to the metal or even being close to the metal. It looks like your arc only starts when you make contact.

What all do u need for plasm cutter

My neighbor has a 100ft 10 gauge extension cord he uses with his little plasma cutter or he has a 5000 watt generator he uses when out at job sites.

Duty cycle will be 20%,or very close to it.

Get goggles they use for cutting torch

on 110? i subbed... i just ordered one...

I think the cutter is a 110v and when you plug in 220v it drops one leg to 110v

I think that it would have been better if you had opened up the plasma cutter and read the Instructions first

TOTAL and complete JUNK of a plasma torch. Went through THREE of these and all failed in less than 4 months. Terrible product, no long term life in it and certainly don't recommend these.
