I found this cheap Procraft 1750 bass boat with an Evinrude XP 150 outboard on Facebook Marketplace!! Come along to Lake Granger, TX as I try to get this boat and 1984 OMC outboard up and running for cheap!!

Great video. I've got a line on one really cheap, and incredibly well-taken care of. My only concern is if these early '90's Procrafts have wooden transoms. Does yours have a wooden transom, or have you had any problems? Looks like with some minor upgrades this will be a great little boat.

Thanks for watching!! Mine did have a wooden transom and I believe they all did up until around 2000. I would definitely pursue the boat you're looking at, however I would thoroughly check the transom. With the engine tilted up, I like to put as much pressure as I can on the lower unit and watch for flex in the transom. Any flex is bad, as much more pressure would be applied to the transom when you're getting up on plane. Also use a rubber mallet and tap around on the transom, listening for any changes in sound that might indicate a possible void or rot.
