The PLA filter works with almost all the gasmasks I own (it does not rub with the gp5 by some miracle) but, shms rubs off paint, but it is what it is (soviet quality control) and I feel like I am cross-threading the hell out of the pmk2
Nice! And yeah, I've also noticed the huge variability between metal threaded ports of soviet masks; I've now also experienced a GP-5M that barely accepts a GP-5 filter; lots of grinding to get it to seal with the O-ring.
@@hypemilitaria6447 I do have a question about in-date filters, Is filtered air supposed to seem... spicy? ok so it is leaking charcoal, what should I do?
I have an MF-11 mask. It doesn't have the drinking tube. I think it's the industrial version. I'm very glad there's modern chinese filters that are safe. Do you sell any filters
Hello im not sure if you will see this but is there a reliable seller on ali express/another website that you order these filters from? I have a GP5 and would rather just get these filters if they work. Im mainly using it when shooting suppressed to get less carbon crap/lead fumes inhaled. As long as they engage the GP-5 O-ring and are from a good source I would appreciate knowing exactly who and where to buy them.
excellent video hype, you are from Taiwan right? When you say Chinese, do you mean the PRC, the ROC, both as a single identity?, and you identify with that? Just sounds a bit odd, as someone with no real relationship to either entity.
Many thanks! Also yup, I'm Taiwanese, but I do routinely transit between Taiwan, Hong Kong and China for work and family. To me, Chinese refers to the language and the people of greater China, which basically describes the region of Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau irrespective of political borders. Remember, Taiwan is the name of the Island, the Republic of China is the name of the de facto country. However, in this specific case, the items are made in mainland China.
Is the Z-B-R2-V filter safe I think it’s the one you reviewed in this video. I really want to know if it has asbestos I own a mf11b and I use the Z-B-R2-V filter a lot im a beginner to gas masks please let me know also good video sir 👍
Nope, no Chinese filter made after the year 2000 will contain asbestos. In fact, they switched away from asbestos for the Type 69 plastic canister filter because asbestos was in short supply in China. The Z-B-P2-2 (the proper protection description of the filter) is a civilian A1B2P2 filter, quite different from the CBRN filter. Sellers claiming otherwise are lying.
Hello hype, may I ask for a quote? I live in South Korea. How much money do I need to buy a FNM09A respirator? (It's $240 out of a Chinese mall.) I really want the FNM09A gas mask, but the Chinese custom blocked the package from taobao because it is a sensitive item. Oh, and do you have a valid Discord invite address?
hey i was wondering where i can find a safe 40 mm gost filter, this video is amazing but i cant seem to find any of these filters online, can you send links or suggest where i could buy these filters
@@hypemilitaria6447 hey i found an fp5 filter for the same price should i buy the fp5 instead? like i have seen people say the fp5 doesnt fit gost threads but i have seen people test it with the gp5 and it worked...
Earlier milspec FMJ08s are not NATO threaded. They use a Chinese version of the GOST thread. However, later FMJ08s/MF22s share the same port as the FMJ09, and while that thread is still not NATO STANAG 4155 exactly, it will fit some NATO canisters. Some, but not all.
