To me, finding a new skylander in stock is like finding a piece of gold (unless it's Sprocket then it's a piece of pyrite) couse I live in Czech Republic where no one knows what Skylanders are. So I'm really proud on my collection.
I have the actual figure. But it is very rare and it came from Europe. Saw it at toy r us once but I already had it so I did not buy it. Imported it because I wanted it.
It's funny how Boomer is the Spyro's Adventure character worth the most out of the OG 32 and I own multiple lol. I also find it funny how Stealth Elf is so cheap despite being on of the most broken characters in SSA
@@casual3123 personally I bought a boomer figure for about $6 and that was I guess kind of expensive, but sunburn is coming in at like $12 for the cheapest, now that’s the most expensive og skylander
I remember when I was younger in Toys R Us back when Spyro's Adventure was the only game released, going there to buy Skylanders and the only figures they had in stock was Boomer (literally the shelf was full of boomers lmao, i feel bad for the troll nobody wanted him)
@@Kalfuyama no, you are Kalfuyama with a Krankcase profile pic (lol) (not meant to be toxic, I just wanted to mention that) Also, where did you get that profile pic. Is it fan art or is it from one of the comics?
Now that I think about it, Zou Loo was extremely overshadowed, like there is his absolutely broken life core counterpart, bumble blast, and the swap force figures would look more interesting. Also, you get a life skylander in the starter pack of swap force, so there is no use in getting another life skylander if you want to 100% the game.
Regarding Pop Thorn's distinct look between his single pack and adventure pack, I can confirm he's not the only Skylander with this treatment. S1 Drill Sergeant and S1 Whirlwind were originally sold exclusively to certain stores as single packs, and the difference was that they looked more darker in color and their base has missing painting compared to any other figures. However, once they got re-released as triple packs alongside Double Trouble, their bases now had the detailing as usual and their overal color scheme is brighter. Another honorable mention is S2 Prism Break where sometimes he could be found with blue crystals instead of his regular green crystals. The blue variant is presumed to be the result of a factory production error and is considered rarer than the green one
@@agentblackbird9435 Basically yeah. While they are technically rarer, not many people notice this or care much, so they won't hold any more valuable than the rest sadly
I think the case with characters like rattleshake and tri-tip is that when they came out a lot of people bought them but then because skylanders games stopped coming out a lot of people got bored and wanted to sell their collections however the people buying skylanders are the super fans who would’ve also got those figures when they first released so it’s a weird thing where the supply is more than the demand
Last week I ordered giants and the company gave me a ssa portal with no receiver and there was no game in the game case, they took the Sky away from my lander
I'm from germany so luckily there are actual stores that have skylanders. I only recently got back into the series (I'm 19 now, lost interest in it when swap force came out sadly) and my little brother has a MASSIVE collection because there was a time where a local paper shop would sell all of the ones that came before trap team for a maximum of like 3€. He actually gifted me a few when we started playing together because I said they look nice so yea he's a sweetheart and I'm not even envious
Great video for people (like me) who are getting back into the games and looking to rebuild their collection. Also, i feel your pain about Tree Rex. I recently saw a listing on ebay for all 3 versions of him (regular, gnarly, and a gnarly Barkley) for less than 20 bucks.
I had to get 2 replacement chills because the head kept breaking off, and around the end of the giants era, my final one broke, losing her head and arm.
Great video! I find it funny that I own most of these. But this has definitely made me want to buy a few Skylanders I previously wouldn’t of due to the price
i just recently got back into skylanders and your the first youtuber i turned to. quality content dude! *also how the hell do you have so many ideas for videos*
just got a really good deal at my local tech store: unpackaged grilla drilla, scorp, rubble rouser, spy rise and Gusto packaged Rip Tide, Zoo loo, Torch, lightcore Countdown and Roller Brawl also the sky racing action pack and the sheep wreck island adventure pack for 15 bucks total
Actually there are some people who don't have spitfire because the Wii u version of the game contains donkey Kong and be the 3DS version of the game contains Bowser
Where do you buy the your Skylanders, Skylanders Characters from? In my country: (sweden) its not common to find Skylanders or Characters in normal toy shops here, do you but them from Ebay? GameStop? Or somewhere else?
I like Headrush because she's cheap. I grew up with Trap Team but only bought my second trap master (the first was from the starter pack) the other day because of their price.
Weird how tired game was a pretty big part of a particular point in my childhood but I spent so long having just completely lost all memory of it. I remember having a load of trouble finding skylanders right at the beginning. Went a long time without getting any new characters. Then eventually a single local shop started selling them. I somehow convinced my dad to let me get one every week which is surprising in retrospect because they were a lot more expensive than the usual toys I wanted. Eventually, towards the end of giants relevance, you'd see hordes of skylanders for cheap in game resell places and such. By that point I'd lost interest so I couldn't benefit. Wish I knew where my old collection went.
Headrush is pretty decent... i have both her normal one and the nit variant of her.i mean she is still better then any trap team core skyander. Because the cores are absolute trasg compared to the trap masters.
i own all the imaginators villain skylanders including cortex his figure looks cool even tho he dies when hit with smol attack from a chompy at level 1
It’s funny how I was at my local game store during trap team’s hype. I saw 2 things on the shelf. Wallop, and Head Rush. I chose Wallop because he appealed to a kid like me. But now that I’m older, thank God I chose Wallop over head Rush.
I honestly found kingpin for a dollar and less at comic con Stockholm. I onely have giants but everything is so cheep now that i could get the other games as well. Great!
Head rush was my favorite skylander for a short time, I don't know why actually but I still enjoy playing head rush, I don't like how head rush normally looks but u only have the variant and I was fine with that design
Well rsttle shake is verry cheap because it was from the first or second wave. And erveybode wanted an undead swapper and an a swapper eith jump power... so almos every dedicated player was like heck yeah here we go undead jump skylander.
I remember my first skylander was fright rider so it did end up being one of my favourites but I still remti had the option between fright rider or glow in the dark fright rider which till this day I regret not getting for some reason.
Well in the netherlands we have the CEX. In some other countries aswell but a lot of skylanders are sold for like 25ct. 50ct 75ct. And 1 euro. And most swappers are like 2.50-6.00 and reposes are also verry cheap. So paying 2.50 for an eruote rfigure feels prett expensive to me or 9.00 for rattle shake when i b9ught eruoptor for 25ct and rattrle shake for 4.00
As a kid the first character I got was boomer so I don't go lookim for him but he's like $5 but when I got wham shell he pretty expensive I got the cheapest one and it was $20
Head Rush is great. I love characters that "charge or dashing" as one of their main abilities. I think this is why I like characters Flameslinger and Tree Rex.
I have about half of the imaginators and I reset them to releval them all up for the third or fourth time and leveling neo is such a pain he dies so quickly
I’m a causal skylander player but since the beginning of skylanders gill grunt has been my favourite so I would get every version of him if I had the money
I still need a earth Trap Master, I could buy Head Rush for 10 bucks but I refuse to because I don't like Head Rush and I rather wait to find a good price for Wallop then buy Head Rush
I was insanely Lucky on finding Echo as from where i live she's insanely cheap. rounding up the currency to USD it would've costed $24. Blackout and Spotlight are prices around that area too.
I thought head rush was Good until I got her the actual character is OK but my main problem is the actual figure as the horn broke pretty quickly which is the main reason I don't like her much
