I can see why some ppl would say this. But for me Voodood will always have a special place since he was the first skylander i got that wasn't in the starterpack
@@woutvrancken2742 Yeah! Same thing's for me with Dino-Rang! I think he's always gonna be my second favorite! First is Series 1 Gill Grunt just because of the history I have with that one!
@@scottletourneau4684 Dino-rang is pretty cool too. And Gill Grunt is also my favorite what a coincidence! I dont really know why i just love his design and game play a lot for some reason
i'm replaying ssa rn, and i gotta say, Voodood is super goated. He has super easy spam attacks, and a grapple like attack that you can even use to pull you farther along in the stage
I didn't buy any skylanders for imaginators because I was like 10 and really only cared about the crystals, but I was going through my skylanders box when out of the blue mysticat just appeared. Don't remember buying it or getting it as a gift. My only theory is that I got him with my magic creation crystal on day one but he was so forgetable that I never used him throughout the whole game.
Skylanders appearing randomly is how I found out I have free ranger although my lava lance eruptor sharkshooter terrafin and deep dive gill grunt went missing
Don't you remember how HARD it was to find a Ninjini back in the day? For those who lived the Giant hype, I'm pretty sure she's one of the least forgotten one everyone wanted her back then
I'm always seeing ninjini now...game shops ,second hand gift shops, charity shops and all over the Internet....I think out of the giants swarm is really unnoticed
Funny story about Zoo Lou is that I saw him on clearance about 2 weeks after trap team came out so I thought it was a trap master and bought him and then realized he wasn’t
Despite getting an Elite and entire comic, I still think people forget about Voodood more than the rest, at least Sonic Boom has her incredibly tragic backstory pushing her forwards, Voodood's backstory is sad too but it's not as memorable as Sonic Boom's
With Ninjini she was my favourite as a child, I had been going to toys r us week in week out and I couldn’t find her, one day I said dad I want this skylander and he went to another city just to get it for me so she has a special place in my heart
Is Ninjini really Forgotten? She’s one of the top Damage Dealers of all the Giants, and has the Fastest Walking Speed aside from Bouncer, and has a Slender Hit box as apposed to the other Giant’s Brick ones, as well.
Yet we all sleep on Fright Rider. He is actually quite strong, especially when you compare his damage on Imaginators to other cores. Punk Shot is forgotten since she wasn't very... available. I don't see alot of people owning her, like wave 5 of Trap Team, I just don't think she got into certain countries.
Well for SuperChargers, if you count the 2 Nintendo Guest Characters Hammer Slam Bowser and Turbo Charger Donkey Kong, there are actually 20 characters in Superchargers
Ninjini, forgotten?... Bruh, you're joking right?... Even if she's not "played with" as much as the other Giants (not by you at least), Ninjini is still a widely remembered and popular character amongst the Skylanders community for various reasons. A few of which being her enchantingly charming and badass personality, plus the fact that she's the only female Giant, as well as the most attractive female character in the entire franchise (you can argue all you want, but Ninjini IS the best Sky-waifu, and that's a fact!), and not to mention she's one of the very few "Genie" themed characters that exist in the entire video game industry! (Can you think of any other Genie characters in any video game aside from Shantae and Ninjini?... I'm sure you probably can, but most of them are way more obscure or lesser known in comparison) Heck Ninjini was even brought back as a fully fleshed out character in Skylanders Academy! (Even if she was only in the show for like an episode or 2, she still played a very important role and made a fair impact within the little screen time she had) IDK bout you, but I'd hardly call that forgotten.
Trap team had the most forgettable Skylanders to me even though it was my second game because the designs weren’t very interesting except for a couple Trap masters. Swap force and Superchargers had plenty of forgettable characters, but those games are my favorite and I like the Skylanders’ designs so I remember them quite a bit
I have been playing since the first game and id say the games after giants not including trapforce and imaginators were kinda boring ginants was the best game ever when i was a kid and tge final boss fight was so hype
I would also say that Trap Shadow is pretty forgotten. I mean, he is a Swaper but, I never heard anyone talk about him. Also about Rip Tide's underbite, look at Series 1 Zook figure from the top cuz that's cursed.
There where indeed some on this list i had forgotten about but i could never forget sonic boom. I think her first attack looks beautiful in the later games. As for dune bug i have him and use him sometimes he's pretty nice imo.
Sonic Boom was literally one of the first Skylanders I owned, alongside the starter trio, Stump Smash, Chop Chop, Flameslinger, and Prism Break. I played with just those 8 for the longest time and completed Spyro's Adventure with them. So I'll be the first to say yes, Sonic Boom is probably the most forgotten SA Skylander alongside maybe Voodood and Wrecking Ball (For me anyway). I love Sonic Boom but when I was getting back into collecting and playing the older games recently, I was suprised to pull Sonic Boom out of the box with all my other old and memorable skylanders. I genuienly forogot she existed.
I still have my Dune Bug, Rip Tide and Zoo Lou. I think these guys are all underrated. I used to have Fright Rider, Trail Blazer, Echo, Rocky Roll and Nightfall. Luckily my Nightfall worked well on 3DS Superchargers: Racing. My brother has Sonic Boom, Ninjini, Star Strike, Punk Shock, Bat Spin, Torch, Tuff Luck, Smash Hit, Splat, Nightfall and Aurora. My brother's Nightfall also works well on Wii U Superchargers and Imaginators.
When I was younger I used to have a big crush on Punk Shock, like I thought she was HOT!... Keep in mind that was my younger stupider self... Looking back at her, she's alright, but not quite as attractive as I originally thought she was all those years ago. Though there's no denying that her design is solid and she's still a badass, no doubt about that!
Getting back into this franchise 3 years ago after purchasing an Astroblast pack since I thought he was pretty cool and he was a light Skylander which gave him extra points. I never played Imaginators as Super chargers was my last game. But ever since that I've been trying to continue my Skylander count and seeing this video made me chuckle since a lot of the forgotten landers you mentioned is ones I originally owned before me collecting again and it's nice to see people actually like Zoo lou. I thought I was the only one who thought he was cool. I actually didn't know Scratch was rare since I just picked her up for 5 bucks with my super charge pop fizz. It's nice to see this community still grow and evolve since the last time I looked and it makes me happy :)
Glad to see Ting lu get some love, even if he can be a bit not flashy as the other cores. He still has a cool concept to summon spirit animals to help him fight. Sad to see not as loved.
I’m from Australia and in 2016 when my parents bought me skylanders I only saw random skylanders at EB Games or see superchargers at target and rarely find skylanders you’d find in the US
I used to hate on Zoo Lou as a kind but over time he grew on me and eventually became one of my favorite post SSA Skylanders, his attacks are just so fun to mess around with and I like the concept of summoning animal spirits, It's so much more creative than a cabbage that shoots tomatos or a Grass Knight that looks like something straight up from Gormiti
Basically all of my favorite Skylanders are the forgotten ones. A few that I can think of now are Wrecking Ball (of course, he’s in my profile pic), Wham Shell, and Zoo Lou.
I cannot believe you would out my favourite giantess ninjinii like this, maybe it's just me but she's probably my most played carecter from giants, severely underrated.
I don't play too often with Dune Bug or Punk Shock, but that's because they are way overpowered. Your game footage 4:35 doesn't show his Dune Ball attack, which literally wipes the field of enemies, and is great for Survival Arena high scores. Punk Shock's water/electrical attacks so easily incapacitates enemies it's a walk in the park for her. Thanks for the video !
I’m 14 and this is the most nostalgia I’ve ever had at once. I was sitting in my room and I found my old sky landers book and I decided to look the game up on RU-vid. I only played the first one but that by far is the most fun game I have ever played. I loved the story too. I do remember it because I was really young but I only remember that I liked it. I will always love this game and this vid makes me want to go to a gamexchange and see if I can find it.
Pulling a sky lander out of a random box after 10 years: ready to go Pulling a sky landers disc out of a random box after 3 years: welp, time to buy a replacement
I agree with most of the choices, but if I had to add any it would be: Flameslinger Lightning Rod Swarm Grilla Drilla Rubble Rouser Scorp Smolderdash Blastermind Short Cut Thunderbolt Fling Kong Tread Head High Volt Pit Boss I felt like I made someone upset by saying their favorite Skylander.
Like a lot of people, Trap Team was the last game I was really involved in, my family didn’t like Superchargers so I didn’t play it nor Imaginator, and WOW I didn’t realize there were so many skylanders I didn’t know! Well, maybe in a few years I can get back in the craze with my son, he really likes drill sergeant for some reason as a miniature
After looking through every Skylander, my personal picks for most forgotten Skylander from each game would be: SSA - Warnado G - Fright Rider SF - Slobber Tooth TT - Trail Blazer SC - High Volt I - Barbella
I actually grew up playing with Fright Rider, Tuff Luck and Trail Blazer during Trap Team's run, and I found a carrying pack of SSA Skylanders (Sonic Boom maybe be one of them), at a garage sale around the same time, and got Zoo Lou and Smash Hit years later.
Off-topic but I probably would have loved imaginators if it didn't have a game-breaking glitch on the first day of me playing it... it made it so every Skylander I put on the portal wouldn't work, and I knew they worked normally because in every other game they worked fine I might have already told this story here but whatever
Woah a lot of the skylanders that I personally wanted are on this list. Scratch was the first skylander I wanted, but sadly I don't think she was out at the time so I got free ranger.
I also don’t usually forget Bat Spin because her soul gem is kind of out in the obvious in Telescope Towers, which is a level I remember because it would always crash my game when I played it on the WII before eventually getting the WIIU version. However, that is the soul (get it) reason I remember her.
The thing about magic Skylanders being more easily forgotten is probably because Magic is the most generic of the elements in a way All the other elements have a strong theme but magic doesn’t Already in SSA, you can see why most of the Skylanders are in their element And then there is magic If you don't know about Spyro outside of Skylander (I didn't in 2011), the only one that makes sense is Double Trouble. Wrecking Ball and Voodood work for the element more than the others, but they don't scream magic It's the element where they put the Skylanders that actually do magic, and the ones that don't fit any other element
ima list my opinion on some of the forgotton skylanders here. *Only the ones i have and used* *Sonic boom* is one i had for 5 years and i barely used him, to be honest i only used him again to see what he did cause well its been 5 years and i forgot about him. *Fright rider* i actually really liked his pvp style its pretty cool to me but its not the best in the same way. *Ninjini* To be honest i got ninjini on my birthday along with crusher so that was pretty cool, still i dont use her. *Dune bug* hes the goat when hes maxed, i dont get how people could forget this beauty. *Rip tide* i want to max all my skylanders, but its just riptide is so hard to actually want to use him, he gets boring. *Zoo lou* I love this guy, my guy he has a move to get a hog, HOG RIDERRRSSSSSS. I have two of him. *Punk shot* I cant its the same as riptide. To boring for me to want to use. *Scratch* i owned one since release. Also keep her away she reminds me of my cat i dont have my ankles now waa. *Star strike* so like its a good skylander in a way. but its also pretty dookie when your on close range pvp. *Bat spin* Ok like she is hard to want to use, she has bad hp when u get her, bad combo ya know? *Torch* i used to have her, shes in a storage unit now since i moved cant judge her personaly yet. *Trail Blazer* He is hard to want to use. its a horse with fire. not that entertaining for me. *rocky roll* hes a case of unique design. But it comes down to his attacks & hp and from what ive seen its mid. *tuff luck* She is pretty cool to me, she looks like a super cali, same with wallup he looks like a super flynn. *Smash hit* my friend has him and says if he finds him he will give me it (he used to play skylanders) *Night fall & Astro blast* the thing with them is the light and dark didnt really serve to much purpose for secrets. Thats it from me, this is just my opinions dont take it personally cause this isnt twitter, also imaginators was to boring for me the newer skylanders werent the same to me.
3:43 I play her 4:40 I have him, and he’s really high in level 5:34 no joke, but I called him gold fish 6:16 I love playing as him, I love to talk about him
8:13 Yes ! A skylander that I like is on this video ! I've got better tastes than everyone ! But back to unironical things, personally, I don't own a lot of skylanders, and Star strike is one of the few skylanders from Swap force that I ever bought. And it's the only one that I enjoy playing, which is the main thing that can put a Skylander on my top list. (Also by the way, I lived every Skylander game 2 years after their release, like when I got giants, that's when Trap team was releasing, so I probably didn't have the ''release'' experience that is talked about in the video.)
honestly i have fright rider from someone my mom knew that gave us all their giants skylanders but i don't really use it just think it looks cool in the collection
Speaking of dune bug at 4:30 ish he was my favorite for a little while because he was a birthday present from my parents i also love seing others favorites
I absolutely love star strike. I almost got the frost variant but no the last one got taken while I was using the restroom. But yeah i like star strike.
I think Zoo Lou was my main back in 2014/15 because the first time I had used him in years he was level 20 all upgrades (outside of his soul gem) and still had like 30,000 gold sooo.. guess younger me that it was all about Zoo Lou
• Sonic Boom is a favorite of mine • Forgot about Fright Rider • Ninjini I remember not being able to find her. I did forget Swarm though • I remember Dune Bug decently • Riptide is ugly • Zoo Lou I actually remember pretty well • The same goes for Punk Shock I remember using her • Do not have Scratch • I remember Enchanted Star Strike but not her regular variant • Do not own Bat Spin • I forgot about Torch • I remember Trail Blazer because he’s a horse so yeah • I do not I have either Echo or Rocky Roll • I remember Tuff Luck, I find Thunderbolt a lot more forgettable for me • I don’t have Smash Hit • I like Splat a lot tbh • I wish I had Nightfall • I don’t like Barbella • I have Aurora and I just know that I have her lol • Mysticat makes me uncomfortable
i honestly think enigma is the most forgotten trap master. so forgotten in fact, that i don’t even think i’ve seen gameplay of him because of how underused he is. the magic element really got screwed over when it came to trap masters. they got one that’s really forgettable and one that just sucks.
Whenever I think of Skylanders I think of the ending to Spyro: Dawn of The Dragon. I love the games just I feel Skylanders being part of the Spyro story makes the ending to Dawn of The Dragon feel bittersweet. I feel like the ending to that game would be a perfect ending to the Spyro franchise, but no, Skylanders Imaginators just has to be the ending right now. THIS is the reason I want a new Spyro game. To fix up the ending yet not just have it be like Crash 4 where it works for that game having all the other titles be different timelines. It works well there because it goes along with the themes of the Crash Bandicoot series. I just really want a more compelling ending to the Spyro games.
