Good scenery enhances a wargame and doesn't need to be expensive - making cheap and simple structures for Warhammer 40k (or any Sci Fi game). Preparing the battlefield for the Rynn's World Battle at the Farm scenario after the previous video getting the Orks painted up for it.

The trick for those glossy plastics wash them, then sand the living crap out of them, hit them with a wire brush or even just a scouring pad, anytthing to knock the gloss off will make them take paint and glue better and always prime cheap Halfords rattle cans will do. It's a faff I know but a little hard work at the outset pays dividends later :-)

Yeah sounds good, I liked the rough texture finish of the polyfilla on these ones, but next time I reckon I'll give that a go to get more of a flat sheet metal sort of vibe :-)
