It was here before but for some reason they too it off. Great to see it back, I watch it every now and again.Great band with the coolest drummer I have ever seen.
During this performance I wonder if any of them thought that they would one day be inducted into the rock hall of fame! 37 years later it happened! Dang time flies. I had just enlisted in the Army when this song was out. I grew up about 40 minutes from Rockford, Illinois, where this band is from. I remember hearing it during basic training, coming out of some speakers in the Mess Hall.
I cannot believe how one dreary wintery night long ago(40 yrs plus!) Saw these fab dudes in topeka ks at a tinyish venue..seriously tiny like a high school gymn in a small town type of smallish venue..really cool and each guy is totally a unique look& vibe..like some random guys from totally different walks of life/interests/ genres just decided to play a gig for fun..a fun band indeed ..it is a time capsule.. captures & returns to me..my youthful(hope-filled!) heart.. from where the hell ever it dissapeared to these days...(& left jade in its place) yep kids these dudes were real( we were too!) Xxx&0oo's to all from the So not Bots gen..we're really not boomers nor x's certainly we are not robots nor sell-outs..And our bands indeed had hair(&Charisma out the wazoo!!!) TY for the smile tonite..9/22 facing a lonely labor day weekend with my cat..getting old huh???
Wack comment. Cell phones weren’t popular back then. They only came out 6 years before this video and was priced at 4k.. which is the equivalent of being 10k now….. of course they don’t have their cell phones out.
