Cheap Trick- Sgt. Pepper's from Inside the Waldorf Astoria 

My husband is a die-hard Beatles fan and I love cheap trick. We came across this entire show and we're floored! We tell everyone about it, It is a must see!!

This is just ... fantastic. The Beatles had stopped touring by the time this record came out, and they could not have played a better live rendition. God bless Cheap Trick. A national treasure.

Utter utter class performers. Cheap Trick another underrated influential band to many including Kurt Kobain amongst others. Bunny Carlos is my hero, just love the way he reels off drum licks like it ain't no thing. Fav album of all time live at budokan. This is the best nod to the Beatles ive ever heard.

Such a delicate, respectful and perfect version of the original. I enjoy when they perform their own work, but for Beatle covers no one is better. Sad, because many try to cover Beatles but it rarely works. This one is a hit. I remember when this album came out this song gave me chills and the CT version does as well.

a friend of mine saw cheap trick and said they did their show for an hour and a half .....took a break and then they came back out and did the complete Sgt pepper show.....I have seen trick 15 times and still pissed I missed this

I just discovered their version of Sgt Pepper's album. They are amazing! So much trash on youtube with different versions and this on is the best by far.

I have this DVD and watch it a lot. I think Cheap Trick does this much better than the Beatles (although to be fair, we never got to see the Beatles do this live). Tom Petersson has the McCartney bass parts down perfectly and Robin Zander truly is the man with 1000 voices. And it was a treat to see Bill Lloyd on back-up guitar. My brother went to school with him.

Cheap trick covered the whole Sargent peppers LP on a cd afew years ago it's great.. Nielson and Carlos played on acouple of tracks for John Lennon's double fantasy sessions.. but their takes were not used I believe
