if i cut the primary and basket gear off a 300 would it still work and provide a reduction for the rancher 350? i think its pretty nuts to spend almost a grand shipped on a reduction when i could make one myself if i knew what bikes primary and basket gears id have to cut off and weld. i know what a 54% for the 300 is made from but i dont want to slam it into 350 and have a 70% or something like that.
After that homemade hack job explodes inside your motor and takes out your oil pump and your crankshaft you will be wishing you call reduction boss but go for it let me know how it works out
Can't you do the same thing for a 14.5% reduction in a 400/450 foreman. Except you can just drop the 300 basket right in an not have to swap the driven gear like you did here for the 350.
i have a 1990 two wheel drive sitting in the shop , it needs a rear diff /axle . the motor is perfect along with the shift and clutch , the plastics are faded and cracked , the seat is sun rotted . tires are actually like new . i will be putting it online for sale some day . 500 firm . i live in saskatchewan close to humboldt .
For a Honda 300 a 400ex clutch basket gear and primary is a 18% GR correct? I have a few 300ex and 400ex baskets and primarys but not sure which ones I need to swap onto the Honda 300 basket. Thanks enjoy videos
Carolina Outdoors the rubicon, because it will definitely be more comfortable and it has a locker and it is irs and it also has a headlight pod and a screen so you can check your gas and how much miles you got on it
