All the work Scott puts into these reviews, he still takes the time to reply to everyone’s comments! Somehow he still has time to play in 8,000 different bands. Mad props to you, Scott!
This is a helpful review for those of us who are considering to get affordable versions of wireless in ear monitors as transition tools for our team. Thanks a lot sir.
I used a previous generation of this system for a few years as a keyboard player. It worked amazing - just listening to my keys and the click track. bad in-ears are still far better than hearing damage. I used to hear the guitars and drums just acoustically and get the in-ears just loud enough to hear them over the guitars.
I've seen so many positive reviews for the Anleon S2. Operates in UHF frequencies. Prices on Amazon fluctuate but can usually be found for around $90. I really look forward to your reviews so keep them coming.
I appreciate your channel. It help me to purchase some cheap and great gear for my band. This system looks great but can't wait to watch your reviews of other IEM options.
Thanks for the info! Good timing for me to see this video, this is the first time I will need to get in ear monitors. Your beginners guid was super helpful too!
Your videos are very helpful and you are doing the community a service! We are a 5 piece metal band and have been trying to get the xvive system to work, but I dont think it can handle what we are trying to put through it. I like that you keep it real with who they are for. keep up the awesome videos.
Thanks! I would watch my video that comes out next Tuesday on the Anleon S3. That and this one would be my options for you guys: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dJL_zI2drRQ.html
Great video, doing the lords work by reviewing all this gear. Bought my IEM system based off your videos and always come back to your reviews for the great content and info. And thank you for gig testing all the gear you review.
@@ScottUhlMusic The Phenyx Pro PTM-10, using the one trasmitter and two receivers. Currently loving it! I honestly don't think I would have trusted the gear without your recommendation, based on the price compared to the competition of the Shure or Sennheiser.
Nice! Amazing choice, and still holds up to this day. My singer and drummer use the PTM 10 and 11 at every show and they still hold up 🤘 glad it’s been working so well for you too
I should have known about this channel way earlier! Thanks for the good work. I'm looking for cheap IEM systems for my band so we can start using backing tracks and sound effects on our debutt album tour and your videos help me on my journey to find the best product.
All your reviews are great, easy to understand from a technical POV and the memes and GIFS are 300% accurate 🤣 I just got a wireless from guitar the SWIFF AUDIO WS-50 and it rocks, Battery wise it lasts longer than the Phenyx Pro and no interference at all. I got those 2 products after your reviews. Keep on going
Hey Neil, you did end up winning this system actually! Reach out to me on my website (link in the description). Only contact me there, do not message any scammer… I will not ask you for money. Congrats on winning! 🤘
Neil, you were the winner for this, please get ahold of me on my website by next week. Otherwise I'll have to get it to the runner up. Also, don't respond to scammers. Only reach out to me on my website, and I'll never ask you for money. Thanks!
Thx for the info. Was excited to maybe upgrade from my Kimafun, but now I’m on the fence again. Thx for all you do! I may need a private consult to figure out what’s best for my needs.
What I do with the cheap 2.4hz like the lekato that are very portable is that I wire the transmiter up to the microphone stand of the singer. Is like a mid ground between a wired and a wireless system
Hey Scott, first of all, great channel! I just LOVED your live band backing tracks on Logic Pro X series! I'm a singer and guitarist and I'm desperately searching for a cool yet affordable wireless setup for singing, playing, plus IEM. What would you recommend for this situation? Cheers from Brazil!
Thanks! Glad you liked the video series! So you want a wireless mic, guitar, and in ear monitor system? It really depends on your budget. Are you trying to go as cheap as possible (and understand the more cheap gear you use the less likely it works every show) or looking to spend more and have a very reliable setup? Cheers!
I highly recommend watching this video: Choosing the Right WIRELESS SYSTEM - A Comprehensive Guide ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xi2JcMomjQ0.html
So many cool wireless products... do you have a separate drawer that looks like a spaghetti bowl with all the charging cables and power supplies? Lol...
Jason, you were the runner up for this system! One guy got ahold of me, but the other one hasn't. Reach out to me on my website (in the description). If he doesn't get ahold of me by the end of the week I'll send it to you. Thanks! Don't respond to scammers, I won't ever ask you for money for shipping or anything like that.
We, as band, bit the bullet and bought 4 of these, connected each with 3.5mm to 2 mono TRS cables to our sound interface for stereo image, and yes, we got panned guitars, we got stereo sounding, also works just fine when all 4 receivers is placed near each other, no interface and whatsoever. What I wonder now is, what's the antenna's size? I mean, I plan to make a small, closed rack system, and for that I need some sort of extension to front side of the rack. I saw some antenna extension kits with various antenna's, but this one has a smaller footprint, so how can I learn its commercial name, like, how can I google its plug type? :)
I would be cautious using that many cheaper wireless all at once. These are not meant for a full band to all have iems and to be used with an antenna combiner. I would suggest upgrading for something like that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xi2JcMomjQ0.htmlsi=7nMdcnLJY_ya51Fy
I I have an earlier version of these. Takstar WPM-200. Not bad for the price. If you are not critical with sound and need a decent reference they work good. Like you said, keep away from other wireless systems. They interfere with others. Just my two cents. Thanks for the video. I would use it with my SHURE SE15 buds. Payed $68 at the time. 5 years ago.
Thanks, I saw the 200s. I don’t like that you have to open the battery compartment to turn up and down the volume, so I’m glad they changed it with the 300s! And glad to hear your analysis matches with mine 👍
Nice! My main original music project is “Spiral Cell” but my two cover bands are Ninety Percent 90s and Uhl Duo. I play in other bands but they mostly do private events/weddings 👍
I’m glad someone caught this, because I was wondering how it looked! No, same setup, but I changed a few things. I got a tripod as opposed to a desk arm, and I made sure to always check my white balance and set my lights to a higher kelvin. For the DOF, that’s actually done artificially since my room is actually super small. I watched this video and used the tips in it to get that effect: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SjXdu9A95uo.html
I reviewed the P2 in this video and I mention what’s different about the P1, so it will help you out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qi7Uq-4w-9E.html
Pickles. Also, I do intend to check out that uber-cheap UHF system I sent you a link to from aliexpress. I wish someone like Lekato would come out with a UHF rig with incorporated headphone amp. I've used the WS-70(I think thats the one) into the Behringer headphone amp as a rehearsal system, and it was usable. Arguably not "awesome", but certainly usable for typical bar gigs. If someone were to come out with a dedicated IEM rig that was essentially that, even for the same cost as those two combined, they'd sell LOTS of them. Together, they total about $81.
Nice! Yeah let me know if that one ends up working for you. I’m definitely curious about it! I’ll have to look into some aliexpress stuff for the future because there is a lot of cheap stuff on there
@@ScottUhlMusic I've never had an issue ordering from them. If I get that IEM system, it'll be more for curiosity. I have the U4, and the system Carvin sells, but branded as "The T-bone", which is Thomann's house brand. Those are actually made by JTS. Also my goodest system which is the MiPro 900 series
I would like to ask you. Do you think that the WPM-300 would play well with a vintage dual antenna 72-76 Mhz wireless guitar system? Yes, I know it's old, but, so am I
@@ScottUhlMusic Cool, that's pretty much my thought as well, since the freq. range is so far off. My main reason for even considering the wireless in ear, is because I play to tracks, most of which I made myself, in a lodge of a hot springs. People love it when I go out to the pools, but it's hard to hear the tracks out there good enough to make sure I'm playing in time. With the door open, it's line of sight, but for what ever reason, near the door, the sound drops drastically. I do Love your review, especially how you clearly talk about pretty much every possibility. The really odd part, is I got my guitar wireless, well over 30 years ago, and it still works like new.
Do you have time for the XTUGA IEM 1100 if you get one from the company? I am a vocalist singing Jazz so quality of sound is best for Acoustic gigs. Thank you sir
But is it stereo? 😅 Jk, i just wonder if it possible to hear panned Guitars on sides. And would it be feasible to stack 5 of these and use for IEM with a Behringer XR18?
Hahaha, and no, you won’t be able to get panning with these. And I do not recommend getting 5 of these all at the same time. The number one mistake I see is too much cheap wireless all at once: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xgw96rY4TAc.htmlsi=ghv0CJbzDEwWeqM_
@@ScottUhlMusic yea i watched that video. I have also sent a mail in detail about what i want to achieve couple of hours ago, id be happy if you can reply that! Cheers much!
