Hey guys, here's the video to leave a comment on to win the Shure GLXD+ System: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7YU4pirSPoQ.htmlsi=W5CRPFSY-tTUTTCh Thanks for putting up with my begging to "check out my music bro" 😅. And please remember, that I will never ever ask you for money. Never. ANYONE asking you for money claiming to be me is a scammer. Period. Also, I'm trying some new methods to get people to get to the right product links besides just leaving them in the description. RU-vid added product tagging, and I'm trying the QR codes as well. Do you all find that helpful, annoying, or unnecessary? Thanks again for watching! Let me know which wireless you love as well and which tier they fall into. 🤘
Hey Scott, your music and review work have both been absolutely wonderful and inspiring. Even when I don't use wireless as much, I still find it useful. I wouldn't bother with anyone who's gonna find a product or affiliate link "annoying", we musicians still need to feed ourselves somehow right? You do what you gotta do and we trust your information and appreciate your work. Rock on!
the qr codes is helpful, i guess. so people can get the product or preview the product straight from your recomendation while also continue watching your video. in my opinion, it look cool on the video too. the wireless i love (which is from the entry level/mid tier category) is shure(ly) GLXD+ it is compact, looks like it build to last, and the detune feature is blowing my mind.
This is such a COMPLETE video about wireless gear. I had so many questions which were all answered in this video, and your recommendations saved me a lot of time, so thank you Scott for your work!
@@ScottUhlMusicAye Scott! I'm new to this but was wondering if i buy a Phenyx iem, a nux or xvive wireless system, and say a bunch of the cheap wireless ones from amazon to use on modelers and monitors would that work or do they have to be the same brands?
Thank you Scott! All the time and effort you put into these videos in incredible. I really appreciate everything you do for the music community. Your videos have helped my band immensely.
Love the info. As someone who's been looking at more and more wireless options this has been a huge help I plan on referring back to as a resource moving forward. And I respect the hustle on the original music. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I’m glad people found this video helpful. I wanted to do a comprehensive guide, so I hope to send people to this video to figure out which wireless is best for them 🤘
Great work Scott! You have helped my band get into the wireless game. It is overwhelming but you make it simple enough for even us banjo players to understand. The GLXD+ would be a great addition to our set up.! Also, Spiral Cell is sick!
Thanks! And I’m glad it came across that way. I wanted it to be a good summary to direct people towards in the future when buying a new wireless system 🤘
I love your videos man! Our band is looking to get into the wireless game and the information you provide through your videos is worth gold! I can't thank you enough for clearing the smoke in this challenging landscape.
Thanks! It took SOOO long to edit haha, but I really wanted to go the extra distance on this video and include a lot of info so people can make the correct choice 🤘
Wow Scott that was a lot of info there. Thanks for putting that together. Even though I have watched most of all your videos, seeing it on that summary review format was really helpful and informative. (Love the Spiral Cell video and keyboarding ~well done)🤘💛
Thank you for your videos, Scott! So far you've helped me to find very nice cheap in-ear monitors, getting my stubborn band mates to mix their own in-ears (with Mixing station) and most importantly, build my compact In-ear rack. It is extremely hard to find objective knowledge about all of this so you are definitely on the right mission!
Thank you for pointing me to this video, Scott. I've watched it several times, and I feel like now I have a much better idea of what will work best for my band and me. You're amazing!
Your channel is amazing! Thank you for all this valuable info. I have a degree in audio and we never got into the detail you’re going through. Super helpful! My church is a direct beneficiary of the knowledge I have gained from you. It will save us a lot of money too!🙏🏼 Thank you!
I appreciate the thorough video! I used a wireless Shure guitar system in my first touring band 15 years ago but haven’t messed with it much since. I’m in a new, serious band and I’m in the middle of building our IEM rack based on your videos. This was perfect timing for when I dive back into my wireless guitar system. 🎉 Thanks, as always!
Glad it was helpful! Nothing wrong with sticking with budget friendly stuff if it works for your band. Hopefully this video helped you make the right decision for your setup 🤘
Awesome video! I've been the tech director at my church for a couple of year. During this time my goal has been to update and upgrade any equipment that is obsolete or outdated. I myself started using Xvive U4 IEM system. It has worked awesomely. We're are soon to transition from an analog to digital mixer so it opens up a whole new world of oportunities and ideas to level up the way we do things. With so many options your videos had been of great help. Thanks!
After listening to your proyect and realizing your show is a reflection of the album, I understand now how you became so knowledgeable about music gear. Great work!
An absolute Treasure Trove of information in this video! Thanks very much especially from someone who just started Wireless a few weeks ago after over 50 years of playing and dealing with cords. First Step was going Wireless on the mics and I happened to pick the same cheap receiver transmitter that your wife used by Lekato on your gig down in the islands. Worked flawlessly so far. Once you get started on this it can get addictive. Cheers!
Thank you, as always! Your channel has been so helpful in my up-leveling to better bands and being a more polished and professional electric violin player.
Thankyou brother for going the extra mile to explain in depth with the different prices and quality. extremely helpful for sure. I'm just starting out my band Wake the Siren and this video helped me for a starter wireless for my Wolfgang 6 string to play shows. thank you brother!!!!!
This saved me so much time. Just starting out trying IEM’s instead of floor monitors. Couldn’t really decide what to pull the trigger on but this really helped me out. Great video man. 👍🏻
Love the channel, deffo 1 of my 'go to' channels for this techy gear stuff! I'm a sponge for information, so i just sit and watch and read as much as I can to learn and I find your videos really informative and easy to digest. Ive got massive OCD when it comes to audio, so even though im only in a bar and function/wedding band, I find myself going for the Pro Level in your video just for the reliability. A year ago I upgraded my 2.4ghz Line6 G70/G75 wireless to a Sennheiser EW-D and now I'm looking to go for a wireless vocal mic too, so (mainly) because of your videos it'll either be a Shure SLXD or a 2nd Sennheiser EWD. Thanks again for the great content.
Nice! Excellent choices. Glad you’ve found the channel helpful 🤘 and I want to explore the EW-D system more. I’ve just used Shure mics for forever. Definitely on my list 🤘
@ScottUhlMusic definitely worth checking out. I've been using mine a year now n not had 1 drop! I do also like the look of the EV RE3 you reviewed a while ago, but not sure what it brings to the table that the SLXD or EWD don't tbh, so not sure whether to bother pricing that 1 up or not 😆
Another great, informative video! I'm a Shure man myself but I just bought one of the cheap wireless instrument systems for my acoustic trio because of this video!!! And BTW, great new tune from Spiral Cell! Love the video and that gizmo you're using is awesome. Thanks for doin' what you do.
Thanks! And yeah, I always have my swiff audio with me as a backup even when I have my Shure or sennheiser with me. And thanks for checking out Spiral Cell :) I really appreciate it!
Man this was a really well done video. Thanks for explaining bandwidth! Since I'm the one in my band/friend group of musicians that has a deeper knowledge base on this stuff( thabks to you) I'm definitely going to send them this video when I get asked about what to get. Thanks dude!
Really great video. My bandmate wants to go wireless so I will pass this along to him to help him with his decision. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge. 🙏🏾
Hey Scott!! Thanks for such an amazing video!! I recently started gigging again and we are impleting a silent stage. I think I am going for the budget friendly option here!!
Great explanation on the difference between entry level and pro gear. Everyone appreciates your time that you put into making the video. … and.. spiral cell ‘causality’ is great listening too !
your presentations always a pleasure ! and comment section like reddit answers for my mysterious charades. best of all segments of youtube . glad i found your channel couple years ago . keep it up !
Incredibly helpful well presented info for all levels of performers! Thanks for sharing your knowledge Scott 🤗 I’ve recently bought 4 x cheap 2.4ghz IEM systems for myself and 3 x band members. I had no real issues at my solo gigs, but had serious issues using the 4 at once. Your video has really informed me regarding my expectations. Thanks mate 🙏🏼
@@ScottUhlMusic I've actually just gotten back into music after taking a 7 year hiatus as a bass player. Had an older Sennheiser G3 IEM (with 1964 Ears V6-Stage - Now 64 Audio) running with an old Mackie DL1608 to mix our iems at the time. Was looking at a somewhat better way of doing things, and stumbled across your channel. Thanks for doing what you do! You really helped me out choosing new gear. Just dropped about 10k (Canadian) 😲 12U Gator Rack, Behringer X32 rack, Senn G4 with AC41 & Senn A1031-U (for me... My singer and drummer get mono mix via the older G3 - LOL), Seismic Audio 16x15x15 splitter snake (used them in the past without issues). Even upgraded my Shure GLXD16 (non plus) to the new Plus version.... So much better, and a few other bells and whistles. Anyways thanks again..... And hope to God my wife doesn't find out. LOL
Great comprehensive video! Tons of great info. Appreciate you putting out all this stuff weekly and helping us working-class musicians find the diamonds in the rough
