1) Likes 1) Confection microwave, 2) Permanent bed, 3) 12v refrigerator, Dislikes 1) 2feet to long, 2) Sink could of been bigger, 3) No ladder to improve roof improvements, Yet way better than roaming in just a Class B. With personal fixes one could make it work. Forest River did a great job. One day soon I hope too Moto off in a RV like this!
I'm so happy to see a B+ on a Ford transit, rather than the Mercedes. If you find any other small class C's or B+'s on the Ford transit, I'd love to see them. The CCC is amazing! + Shower is good size + Some decent storage outside + All wheel drive, a bedroom + The size of the fridge - could use a flip-up counter - looks tight up front, at least for passenger - No hitch for a bike rack It might be better if the front seats swiveled and a pedestal table fit between them.
Sprinter is a disaster of engine complexity that can leave you stranded as the DEF system fails and shuts down the engine. The added cost is also absurd. Snobs can keep it.
Patty I’ve put a down payment on a Coachmen 20CB on the Ford Transit. It less than 25 ft length with an Msrp of 100k. Lots more storage. Coachmen is a subsidiary of Forrester.
Likes: 1) No slides 2) No "wet bath" 3) Ford Transit. Gas economy, and handling. (current rig: 28-foot class C with E 350... 8mpg...lol) Dislikes: 1) Not sure it would be possible but I think swivel cockpit seats with slide-out tables would have been a better way to go. 2) Where are you sitting that the main tv is at a good angle? 3) Cabinets could have been a lighter color.
As a solo RVer, this looks great. No slides is a plus (one less thing to break), small to camp and park anywhere, and easy to drive. I would even make the bedroom smaller (add some overhead cabinets) and make the bathroom/toilet area a little roomier. You couldn't have a tow vehicle, but a hitch would be great for a bike rack.
In general a good floor plan. Like that it doesn’t have slides but still has a nice bedroom. Good storage. A few suggestions: 1. Hitch for bike rack 2. Swivel passenger seat 3. Lighter color cabinets
talk about eye being beamed by sun light from reflections what is with people and there ''brighter'' ideas do you want your eye to strain or you just like to feel pain in your soul? LOL
You have to compare it to a van conversion, that’s what you have to compare it to not a C class RV but a van camper. I found it a very nice upgrade it still gets good gas mileage and still is very easy to maneuver and park and use
Compact, with a few nice design features on a relatively efficient chassis! Reminds me of a cheap version of a Liesure Travel Van. Could have put a BIG window in that back wall to create an amazing look back there.
Matt, you're not going to win an Emmy for this show because we all know how you feel about these smaller RVs, let good job. This RV would be perfect for the average "lifer" in a perfect world.
I sure love the way the trash comes out you don’t spill it on the floor you don’t have to put it through the house just go around when you’re getting ready to leave and dump the trash it is the coolest thing on the inside of the kitchen is that trash receptacle I want that never break I ever will own.
I have looked at many rvs...this is the FIRST B type I would even consider. I LOVE the low lighting, bright white hurts my eyes, bed is PERFECT, fridge is perfect. The side chair needs an arm on the outside, the sink was too shallow in the kitchen. I love the bathroom! No wet bath! It needs solar panels! None of the dislikes are no go's for me. I really love it.
Love this unit, wish it had a hitch to mount a bike rack or motorcycle rack but maybe that can be added and welded on as an extra. Thanks Matt and Andria!!!
😫I spent hours reviewing all the rvs that I had narrowed down my list to this weekend. I compared all the spec against one another snd eliminated my likes down to a definite few. I even emailed with a question and you guys throw a monkey wrench in the mix and messed up all my hard work. I love this one.!!!😍. luckily I narrowed down my list and I’m putting this one at the top. I love the size and the design and when you pulled out that drawer and the table was inside I was happy. I like everything about this unit. Thank you and I hope you guys enjoy your new rig.
Finally--AWD and side view cameras!!! Roof material? Probably TPO or EDPM? No A/C or is that an option? Of course options raise the price. Very nice new to the market rig.
I'm a single guy no kids etc. I love love love this motorhome. I hate slide outs. I think this is super clever for what it is. It's utilitarian, economic and a great floor plan for my needs. The shower is outstanding. I am pretty slim so I could probably be good with the ppp. Those chairs are not too gregarious the table can easily turn it into an office seat for computer work. Really great kitchen really more than I would need but the options are outstanding. I didn't see if it has venting on the floor which I hate but I would assume it might be a ceiling unit which is fine because there are multiple max air fans. They got this one right for what I like. Great job Forest River!
Hey Matt and Andrea, thanks for the review! I like this little one! Needs more storage in the bedroom, swivel seats with a pedestal table and a lighter interior. Pretty good price! Keep on keepin' on!
Would love to see a video on the sister product the FR Forrester TS 2371 or the FR Sunseeker 2370 with the two twins and rear bath. Looks like a great floorplan though I'm wondering if the loveseat is actually big enough for two normal sized adults! Also wish they would put a hitch on these -- FR rep said they can pull 3000 lbs with an aftermarket hitch so why not just offer that from the factory! Couldn't really pull a car, but could definitely do a aluminum utility trailer with a couple of small motorcycles or a golf cart!
Definitely a candidate for white cabinets to brighten it up, along with daylight LEDs in the overhead lighting. Dry bath is fantastic, even a porcelein toilet! Definitely needs to be wired for solar up top and what about tv antenna? Also, rear bumper for stinky slinky and hitch for bikes makes it a homerun.
I really like what they did in such a small RV, but it definitely needs a Murphy bed or comfortable chairs, because no matter how much we all talk about spending time outside, in reality there are a lot of cold and rainy days, and you do have to eventually retire for the night!
I really got a world 🌎 of Enjoyment out of mine and no payments because it’s not a fortune. Gets better mileage too! Park it anywhere quickly set up quickly drive away. It’s for pure fun with way less hassles. It’s so much larger inside than my pleasure way was. I love the extra space for certain
This is a very nice Class B+. My likes are the refrigerator the bedroom and the cute little spice rack or pantry. I like the bedroom for the size of Rv. The shower is a nice size too! My dislike is just it’s too dark in there needs brighter lights. That’s all I can think of for dislikes. It’s very nice for a Class B+. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Why are there no small RVS designed for boondocking?? Like they always give only 1 solar panel, small batteries, and only 35 gallon water tank. I feel like it would only last 1-2 days and I feel like more people would like to be able to boondocks for longer. Like why not a 100 gallon gas tank, a lot of these rvs have a large cargo carrying capacity so I feel like it could hold more
Agree 💯. Especially since this is designed for one or two people, use some of the CCC for more water. Compared to standards B’s the bathroom is great vs wet bath.
I like this for the price. I agree with others that the bedroom needs overhead cabinets. I also think the cabinets are too dark for such a small motorhome. I would like to have seen those shiny european style cabinets. Lastly I wish you would have set up the dinette table.
Finally a bedroom that you can walk around. Just big enough for 1 person. Need a hitch to tow bikes, scooters in. I like the two benches in the front. I could pull one down and use as an ottoman. Or put extended shelf on one side. I love this one
I like the trash can shoot. Love the open feel, despite it being tiny. The seating area facing each other, full time bed, but still get a nice, usable bathroom. Kinda wish it had a hitch, even if it’s only useful for a hitch rack. Tv is not in a great place for anyone to watch it. The lack of storage in the bedroom is kinda odd.
I can't believe it! Finally, an RV that makes it easy to use the wall as an online classroom background! This RV seems great for the roaming online teacher. Thanks for the review.😀
I bring a extra foam pad when I bring a guest it’s a full length bed my dad slept there is is 6 feet 2 inches and had no problem. He completely was comfortable
For the size, I like most things about this RV. But I have to agree with Andrea. That seating just wouldn't work for me. I especially like having a separate bedroom area with walk around space. Continue to review small Class C RVs with no slides when you get the opportunity. Good review.
This is the first Class B+ that has a good layout. It could use some improvements. In back should have been a couch with a murphey bed. Add a folding table. This is your main lounge area. No seats behind the cab. Use the area for more storage. The front TV is a waste. Slightly enlarge the storage. This a one to two person RV. It's for a single guy like me or for a couple to use as a traveling home to see places or visit people.
Is there a solar option?? Sweet little B+. I like how spacious it looks, I like the fridge and storage. Not thrilled about how dark it is. Toilet situation is ugh and dinette area looks uncomfortable. But give it solar and it looks very livable for even a modern day nomad.
Love the Transit! I like this. I’m sure you could put a larger mattress back there, no? I’d love this. And the outdoor storage is insane. Unlike the Gemini. But weird you can’t tow unlike the Gemini. I wonder if it’s prepped for solar? Oh the amazing campsites I could squeeze into with this in Banff & Jasper!
Like everything about this unit! Only thing I would change is to make the bathroom a wet bath since it’s so tight. Maybe Forest River can offer this as an option if you order a unit. Give the customer the choice of having a wet bath or not.
This would be perfect for someone who also uses this to work if it had a Murphy bed! Make that bedroom an office or lounge area when your not sleeping!
😮 I love it 🥰 But with Andrea not a fan of seating but at least table is moveable. But like Matt said “it is what it is” and yeah, I could work with it. Plus it is so roomy and everything is accessible and useable while driving. It would be perfect for a single or even no nonpaying passenger couple. The price isn’t bad either especially since you know you and your team would help get it lower 🐾🐈⬛🐕
A lot of good things about this B+. Do the seats turn around so 4 people can socialize? The other way of doing this layout is to have a slighter bigger kitchen counter and stoage on the other side, then put the extra seating space in the back -- a Murphy bed and extra seating for a back lounge area with a removable table for meals. Does need more lighting, love the shower size, like that the trash is outside accessible. An excellent start.
This is a unique product that could fit a lot of people's needs, but I don't like the absence of nightstands and wall cabinets in the bedroom or the lack of a bedroom door, and you're right about the lighting.
Where was this review a couple months ago! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I love our 2022 Jayco Greyhawk 27U but THIS checks all the boxes for us. Is there such a thing as trading a newly used RV for a new one?! 🤔 😁
Very nice RV. I wish they had a window on the rear. It would make the bedroom amazingly bright and you could actually see the traffic behind you while driving. Also if they put toilet in the other corner where the shower is and put shower in the middle it would make a very comfortable WET bathroom. I wouldn't mind a wet bath if it was large enough. The toilet is too tight the way it is now. Thanks for all the great videos.
I really like this B+ and I agree with your dislikes, but I think there is also a "miss". I think RVs with no back window and no ladder should add an outside cargo bay or closet in the back big enough for a bike, camp chairs, foldable table, etc like 2ft deep by 4 or 5ft wide or just short of the width of the back of the RV.
I think this would be perfect for me when I'm going camping with my family. For me and my two dogs, this would be amazing. More than enough space for a week-long trip. My family all lives in different states as well and because I have dogs, it's more expensive to fly and board them then to drive and get a hotel. I'd much rather have something like this as the hotels are expensive just for a single night. I have slept in my SUV with at rest areas but the dogs have a hard time with the truckers noisy vehicles and the lights as people come and go. :D I love the refrigerator, the storage under the bed and across from the bathroom, and I actually really like how they did the dining storage. I wish it was prepped for solar and I wish there was a cabinet over the bed but for me, not a deal breaker by any means.
OH, and I LOVE storage behind the TV too. That's amazing. I don't know what's behind the panels on the sides (over the doors) but if there was a way to utilize a seperate little storage area over one of the doors for little things like bug sprays, maps, or TV remotes, that'd be really cool too.
That is a NICE Forester . The overall look is spot on . No ladder is a dislike #1 , The little twisty doors which open downward dislike # 2 along with that tight Loo setup as our # 3. Matt the PRICE is Like # 1 Availability would be our #2 and the ecoboost engine our greatest like !
I think the bedroom needs a rear facing window and a pocket door. Also the kitchen area could use a skylight. I think a few small changes would really improve this unit. I hope you have a chance to review the twin bed floor plan. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks
Great Class B motorhome. Love the bedroom, refrigerator & closet. Kitchen is nice too along with that great shower. However there is very little living area in the front which would make this vehicle something I would not want to spend more than a few days in.
Love that it’s AWD! Like the space inside, too, and the bigger refrigerator. The bedroom needs to be a couch with a Murphy bed, the bathroom needs to be a reconfigured wet bath with the large shower, and the lighting needs to be better. Solar option is a must, too.
They do have an awesome rear bath model with a slide and 2 beds that join together that replace the awful seating. I would get it for sure if I wasn't waiting on my crosstrail 20xg.
That fridge did not look like a compressor fridge. I think those are the absorption fans near the back, which means it’s probably a 2 or 3 way fridge with propane being an option.
Love that motor home. I also like that it’s on a Ford chaise . The wood is too dark. For the size it would appear larger with lighter colors. The price is steep. We like to park and then drive to hiking trails or to a fishing spot. We’re thinking about a Trail Manor to pull behind our Ford Ranger 4X4
I like it but needs lighter cabinetry for the small space. If you come across the other floor plan with the twin beds, I'd love to see it. Winnebago used to make that floorplan and I always liked it. For the price, it's very nice, if there is quality in the build. Sorry. Had to say it. Plain is okay....thrown together is not. After all, it's a lot of money even if less than similar floorplans. Love what they did with the seats coming together into a bed. Very smart.
I like the Millage I get I like how lovely it handles I like the bed that stays made I like the shower I like the Refrigerator I don’t like how the Picture contact paper keeps pealing off my cabinets I don’t like how the Latches that keeps the drawers closed have been replaced on almost every drawer so far and 1 needs it again. I don’t like the sink faucet. It comes unscrewed and shoots water everywhere I turn the pump of Immediately but last time it happened when I was on city water I’m gonna have to take that sink out and get a plumber to put me in a new sink and a proper Faucet
Thanks Matt and Andrea. Great AWD RV at a very decent MSRP. I think for myself I'd prefer the TS2371 floorplan with the 2 Twin beds, the loveseat with table and the bathroom located in the back. That floorplan looks even roomier. If you get your hands on one PLEASE do a review. Would love your thoughts. Either floorplan would be great for a single person or couple. Great for the weekend warrior. Also good to know that there is an optional 190 Watt roof-mounted solar powered 12V charging system (IPO side-mounted charger prep).
Biggest problem with any Ford Transit chassis is the ridiculously small gas tank - only 25 gallons. I won’t bother looking at them anymore because of that. Still love your reviews.
The bedroom could accommodate a wider bed. And they should have removed the sink from the bedroom. From the looks of it the bathroom door could be used as a privacy door for the bedroom. On the other hand, I love the seats.
I have this on in the 2019 model it drives easy as a van but larger and much more enjoyable than the Van Camper I had. Don’t want to go back to a van ever.
Matt, we love all your videos. Thanks to you two for all you do. We have a 2021 Forest River Ford Transit 2381. It works great for me, but now we are adding another larger dog and my husband has decided to travel more with me. LOVE the Ford Transit. We had a diesel earlier and nothing seemed easy. Do you know of any new products coming down the line that will be on Transit or even Dodge that would be a little larger than the 2381? Mostly it's me, but I want to include the entire family. Thanks so much in advance.
Three things I like 1. I appreciate the generous bedroom space 2. Considering the size of this RV the Wardrobe space is generous as well 3. Considering it's a B+ it's a very functional kitchen Three things I don't like 1. It doesn't have a ladder for roof access 2. It doesn't have a towing hitch as a major negative 3. This class B plus is just claustrophobic, just watching it I feel like the walls are closing in on me. To be fair I'm definitely not the buyer for this!
Could be made into a great motor home. I like the bathroom and refrigerator. The bedroom is wasted space. The bed should be against the back wall and up high, with space underneath for toys like bike and kayak accessible from a door on the back of the motor home. Should also have a permanent sideways table and bench seats for max of 2 people.
I’m not a fan of the 2 front seats . If you want to watch the tv in the front area, it would be awkward. You have to turn to see it. Since we don’t travel with anyone else, I would rip those out and add two swivel recliners for more comfort. I like the overall size and I like the closet storage. The kitchen is adequate. I would like to see some extra storage in the bedroom.
I like it, small but not too small, real bathroom, not a wet bath, and a real bed, not a fold out couch. I think the bedroom door is your room divider in this case (to the bedroom)
