The Best Class B + in America! 

My wife and I bought this model last September and are still waiting on its delivery. We ordered ours with both driver and passenger swivel chairs and full body paint. Ours will have a darker interior.

I love this motorhome. A bathroom I could actually live with (just swap out the toilet). I love the kitchen with an oven and great size fridge. Wish the seats swiveled, and I'd probably swap that mattress, but the price looks great. If I had my wish I would be down the road and gone with this beauty.

Live this one. We have been looking for something with NO bunk over the cab. We wish you and Andrea talked about the murphy bed and if it can come down while the slides are in. As empty nesters we are looking hard for a class B+ but one of the biggest things we are looking for is a bed that can be used even if the slides are not out.

You forgot to tell us the CCC. Is there storage under the couch??? Lithium option??? Nice unit.

This is the best floor plan in a small motorhome I have seen in a long while! Well done!

Matt: I have this motor home & love the layout so much! We ordered with swivel seats. Also: the end of the bed has a support board that slides out to support that hinged section of the mattress! Plus the couch also must motorized more forward for a more complete foundation. The bed is very comfortable! Set up takes no time at all and we love how much space it gives such a compact unit. Another hint on the bed: it is possible to use the murphy bed without putting out the slide if one partner doesn’t mind not having walk-around to the bathroom. We’ve done this when we have done a quick overnight in a parking lot. Ps. Its a BT5240 not 5420!

Have to say one thing I really do not like the windows are covered by the Murphy bed and tv. I guess I like light.

Our first RV was a 2004 BT Cruiser 24 foooter. We took it round trip cross country .. 8500 miles in one month. The layout in that unit was also exceptional. The #1 didlike we had was the bed was a jack knife sofa bed. The murphy type bed in that unit is a game changer. Plus the extra storage the extra foot in length gives you is amazing. This is a great unit at a great price! Great review!

I don't understand why they dont make the driver & passenger seats super lux and passengers seat a lay flat / that way you'd have 2 sleep spaces. lose the Murphy and make it a twin

Been watching Matt’s RV Reviews for a few years. I’m so GLAD that I subscribed a couple of months ago! You both are a great team!

I love it. I couldn’t tell if there was enough room in the cab for someone tall. The Coach House doesn’t have room for my 6’1” husband. He’s too tall to drive it. This is my favorite. I’d like a porcelain toilet too with a sprayer. Two recliners would be nice. They’d have to fold forward though to make way for the bed. I want this RV! Oh, and what’s the CCC?

This is the one, as close to perfect as you can get! Yes, the mattress isn’t the greatest (maybe a mattress topper would fix the fold over problem) and Heaven knows a porcelain throne is preferable….. But the bathroom layout and all that storage in such a small rig is amazing. Great video as usual

The 2018 version of the Renegade Vienna had this floor plan but it allowed for more space because of the manner in which Renegade approached the cabinetry, etc.; I don't know why Renegade went away with it because it was awesome!

I love this motorhome. My only complaint is the outdoor vertical storage seems small. Amazing floor plan. Great video

I would rather have a bunk and no slideout in a B+. However love the TV and fireplace. Thank you for a great review.

THIS is my dream RV!! I've been looking at it for 2 years now. Rarely do you find them on re-sell sites so I figure those who purchased one must love it to hold on to it. They are hard to come by even with dealers searching for one for me. I'm a solo traveler and that fireplace/tv set up is just perfect with the murphy bed. And the bathroom is just what I'm looking for as well. OH!!...and I believe you have your model numbers transposed. This is a BT Cruiser #5240B.....not 5420....isn't it?

Nice review!! Nice use of space on this little unit. I don't like the cabinet that opened down, I think they will get broken. Nice that it has a place for the table!! Love the televator and that the couch is electric! Too small for us and the 3 dogs but great little unit!!

I love this floor plan! Best bathroom (except the plastic toilet) I have seen in a Class B, B Plus and C motorhomes. Also the Televator was done correctly (flush mounted to the countertop) But, is that stained mold on the Murphy bed mattress? I sure hope not!

Just curious. Why fiberglass on the roof, rather than the stuff that’s on the sides? I take it, then, that fiberglass can’t delaminate, or peel?

Deduct $1500.00 for a plastic toilet. A small Class C for a single person who would have to upgrade the whimpy mattress to a extra nice mattress. Matt we have some triple digit temperatures in Texas. Been to Daytona Beach in early 2000 in July, wasn’t cold there either. The best part was walking on the beach at night plus sitting on the balcony drinking coffee & watching the dolphins

HOLY MOLY! I absolutely love this motor home. LIKES: … 🧐 … EVERYTHING! Love the colors, design, storage, etc. etc. etc. … I do like the valances too. Sorry Andrea. ☺️ DISLIKES: … 😧 … I have to give at least one and that’s the plastic toilet 🚽! ☹️

Matt I love this motorhome. It’s the best B+ I have seen! Love the bathroom but the toilet we Dan swap that out! But so sure of the mattress I would sleep on the couch. Wish the chairs can turn around but not a deal breaker. I love everything else. The place where the table is I love that. Love the tv placement and the refrigerator. It’s all very nice size. Love the storage. Thank you Matt and Andrea for showing this Rv.

Great job doing review... Prefer floor plan with bed and bathroom in the back. Swivel seats , kitchen nook when u walk in and second bed above the cab....and no more then 24ft.....thanks arnie

Hey so this is a great unit .. I didn’t get the cargo carrying capacity ? What is it? (Reply below was 1990.5) .:. The cargo capacity is good 👍🏽 some E350 units are a bit low; I like the Murphy bed 👍🏽 it should be easy to fix the overhang; the bathroom is big 👍🏽 and accessible with slides in .:. I wish there was one other sleeping place 👎🏽(I guess we tow a pop-up if we need LoL); I’d option the swivel seats 👎🏽it would really improve the living area; I’d option the cockpit for the full device interface 👎🏽 car play is a convenient option for navigation apps .:. All In all the price point gets us some nice features and we’re on the road !!

Love this one. And honestly: the valance pattern goes pretty well with the back splash. And you don't have to put out the slide out to sleep on the road! as to the plastic toilet... how many pounds are they saving? It is a 350 and not a 450 after all. what's the cargo capacity?

I absolutely love this RV! Love the televator TV. Love the couch/murphy bed. Love the storage! Love the bathroom. Love the price. Finally somebody got it right with this floorplan.

I do like this motorhome but the bed confuses me as well. I'm wondering if something was missed in the set up as the floppy end seems a miss when the rest of the unit is nicely designed?? Also, one swivel chair would be nice as our couch is also hogged by the dog. We who travel with dogs are a bit nuts, I admit, but it has to be considered. Nice job Gulf Stream.

Amazing, Awesome, Great floor plan for a mobile office!! I would quickly Replace the Murphy bed with some XL Valencia Cinema Series Theater Seats, An Auto Down feature for the TV and Porcelain for #2.

I really love this design. If they had a bunk over the cab version of this RV I would go buy it right now.

It really shows how much extra space having a murphy bed can give you in the other areas you use.

You could definitely live in that. In fact, it is one of the smartest ideas for someone living in a class B sized RV.

get rid of the queen bed.... Put a double bed. I you can do this without a slide, I an so in to this one.

Thinking like you two, this is a day tripper with a rest area cooking and bathroom. The price is not bad either. I would not sleep in it unless there was no room at the inn. Probably went with plastic toilet as adding a porcelain would have taken up most of the cargo carrying capacity. 😀

Give me porcelain or give me death! Murphy bed what the? Get rid of the center cabinets to get down in cockpit. Love the televator, the storage for the table, and the bathroom and the toilet position.

I'm shocked by how great that bathroom is, minus plastic toilet. You have an actual spacious bathroom in a B+, who would've thought that was possible. The price point is also great for what you get, class B's with barely a wet bath and folding gizmo bed are $200+. Great option for me and my two smaller dogs to travel in, but I cannot afford anything other than a tent right now.

And continue the backsplash around the entire kitchen. Too many rv’s do this and it doesn’t look right

As a big guy. I would suggest a 450 chasie for the better cab room. Plus the seats could maybe be made too swivel.

During the video, you mentioned a couple of times that you can’t live in this model. May I ask why not? As far as I can tell, it has a bathroom, kitchen, bed, fridge, and shore power connection, so I’m confused as to what it’s missing or why a person wouldn’t be allowed to live in it.

BT is super however, what is up with the loud AC? We heard it at Hershey and now this video-is that how all AC units sound?

I love the floorplan, outdoor storage, and shower space. I will never enjoy being snapped at.

I really really like this motorhome! I agree with your likes and dislikes. I would like to see a better kitchen. No real drawer space. The bathroom is awesome! Andrea! First time I disagree with you about the valances. I like them. lol CCC is good too. Would want solar and as much as I could get! And would want an enclosed docking center. Glad to see no bunk over the cab.....just storage!!! Awesome! Thanks for the video!!!!

They should look at the Unity Murphy bed with a televator to fix their Murphy bed problem

Matt Could the "Plastic" toilet be switched out for a Porcelain unit ? Also much improved on the sound quality on your camera microphone both while outside and inside ( minus the loud ac unit ). Very nice layout and lots of storage !! This would be a great unit.

This is a great layout. Everyone wants PORCELIN TOILETS! The bathroom rocks otherwise. Add a counter extension to the left of the sink, too. The sofa need to be light in color, or at least two tone to improve the look. But this is a great surprise!

I honestly have to say this is the one I would buy. Agree it’s needs a porcelain toilet and hopefully could be switched out. I believe my pup and I would love this. About being in Texas with this heat, it’s torture!!! I’ve lived in DFW for 25 years 😮. Ready to travel soon and live in an RV. Need to go look at this one. Is it in DFW?

Matt you said it's good for engineers and people who need an office on the road. It's also great for pro athletes who travel amd want to have their food and nutrition with them and also room to do some stretching. Professional trail runners amd weekend marathon runners

I like this! Is this an AWD all-weather RV like the Winnebago Ekko Class B+? I like the Ekko because it is AWD and has thick walls for insulation.

Fantastic floor plan, perfect couples RV!!! Colors are fantastic, if I were to be picky.. Cup holder and center console could be a bit higher.

With the slide in I think you could still receive that sofa for sleeping if you had to.

That bed setup will work great for shorter people. This little motor home is great, and could be easily be for longer stint usage.. Me and the wife could rv for a while in this thing..

Love the storage this model gives. Like the different design. Agree that the murphy bed is a disappointment for anyone who is taller. If someone is under 5 ft 5 inches, it might not be such a disappointment. Like that backsplash and that nice round deep kitchen sink!

Matt, you said you were going up on the roof and then you said you got on the roof, but once again you barely climbed high enough on the USTEPS to even film the roof😂It’s impossible to perform mandatory roof maintenance if you can’t use the USTEPS ladder to get on the roof🙄

Matt, you failed to pull out the support board for the fold out part at the foot of the queen mattress.

Anyone who doesn't like murphy beds, this one could easily be removed and a regular RV or house sofa bed installed, thereby reclaiming the wall and window behind the murphy pulldown. One could easily remove the one that comes in the RV, and create their own style and design sofa bed, to allow an eating area with underneath storage, too. There are many possibilities to have this just the way you want/need, instead of being factory decorated only.

I believe the bed stretches out even further to SUPPORT that foot of the bed/mattress. Can someone else confirm? Also, what's the CCC? Swapping out the toilet is worth ALL that bathroom space!

Guys - Andrea mentioned carrying capacity when you walked into the rig, but then nobody actually read it - can you share what this is? Very important for those of us looking at B+ to tow something.

Putting a plastic toilet in that huge perfect bathroom is like having a gold diamond worth a million dollars on a plastic chain out of a quarter machine at a grocery store

Wow!!! This is a really nice small motorhome!!! I really like it! Can the two front seats be changed into seats that swivel around? Can the Murphy bed and sofa be removed and replaced with a sofa that has a taller back. I would rather have a sofa unfold and sleep on. It will give more space, elbow room, feel to it. I know the toilet can be replaced. Love all the large storage, and that storage about the can, wow, including that tall outside space. Don't know what I would put in it, though. Maybe, the bulkier winter clothes. I can see owning this one!!! I've been looking at the 30' A size motorhomes, i.e., Thor Axis. These are very similar!!! Hmmm! I may be calling you, soon!

murphy bed = NO. Plus, I don't wanna sleep up front. Give me an island queen size bed I can walk around in the back with a solid door, sound proof walls and 24/7 full power AC. :D

What I don’t like is there is no natural light with the tv up, and the Murphy bed raised.

Absolutely NO to Murphy bed deal. Blocking the window! Heck NO! That ruined it all. Also,I do not like all those cabinets in cab. Having the option to bring a guest always a plus. Love bathroom and kitchen. TV placement perfect. Block window makes it all dark and unappealing.🤦🏻‍♀️

This is model 5240 rather than 5420 as others have noted. (It’s easier to be a movie critic rather than director, producer, editor and stars). Also, what’s with the dark stains on the side of mattress, and wrinkles in couch upholstery? And why don’t Gulfstream motorhomes have an inside toggle switch to turn the electric heating element to the hot water heater on/off? (I’m a complainer). However I do like this motorhome and it seems that all RVs have design or fabrication flaws.
