@@allthingsrandom8137 After watching multiple videos where all the authors just ramble, then ramble some more and the videos are halfway through and they're still rambling, it's enough to push an elderly man over the edge. We only have so many years to live. I only needed to know what kind of laser could start a fire at night. I have had multiple strokes and I can't operate matches nor a lighter. I finally gave up.
@@allthingsrandom8137 By the way, they make sound proofing insulation board. Cut it so it fits tightly, you need to wedge it into your window frame. Cover all the edges of the board with tape so they won't crumble. The board is rated l I ke insulation. The higher the rating, the better it soundproofs. It's often used for theaters. Regular Styrofoam works well, it's cheaper and can be purchased from a craft store, like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Just make sure to tape the edges.
In case you haven't sound proofed your window yet... Get a pull down blind and cover it with felt OR a vertical blind and cover each leaf with an insulation.
You can actualy readjust focus of these 1.6w laser to the infinity. Beam divergence of these laser diode 2.5 mrad by 0.6 mrad when it's focussed correctly
11:54 min. i wonder why it needs so long to ignite the match with an 1.6 W Laser and focus on it. With my 1.1W 447nm Spartan from Dragon Lasers it burns instantly without focusing the beam at this distance.
All right, apparently in the video the batteries that I used were actually not good batteries. I don’t know if there was an issue from batteries plus giving me bad batteries, but I will be doing a re-review on this laser. I talked to the builder of the laser and they said that it was incredibly under powered and the batteries were bad. So expect a much more lively and explosive review on the next one.
@Potassium Syndicate So I just got some new batteries in and it really helped. It’s like a small one is just as powerful as the big one now. I’m going to review it in a few weeks
I am re-reviewing the laser today and it’ll be released tomorrow. The batteries I had were very weak. I got new batteries and it’s about four times as powerful
That black laser is tested to be 1.5w not 5w. Almost all laser pointers have fake power numbers. If it was actually 5w, you would be crapping your pants when using it inside of your house. That tiny one, too unlikely to be a 1.6w one for just 60. 1 way to guess laser pointer powers is to look at their batteries. If it's a 3.7 16340 one like the black one has, it's 1-2w+ usually or higher, max maybe 2500 but 3 is really pushing it and is VERY unlikely. if it's 16xxx one, then 2000-4000w is more reasonable. 4000-7000w+ ones usually use 2xxxx batteries. Also the black one is sold everywhere over eBay, AliExpress and over different dropshipping websites.
I hang 1 foot wide strips of black linen 1 foot from the walls around the room off the ceiling and carpet 4 foot wide across the bottom half of the walls. No room sound after that
5:26 max power is kind of like a joke number, a meme, a myth when it comes to laser pointers. if u rammed 5w through that laser pointer, it would instantly break.
I’m actually going to re-review the small laser, because I use the wrong battery, well not the wrong battery it was just a non-charged battery that was sold to me. I just got a new battery for it and it engraves wood and acrylic just fine
Check out the updated small laser. Used a better battery and it changed everything Title: JLasers 450 nm Smallest 1.6 Watt BURNING Laser. SO POWERFUL!!!
@@allthingsrandom8137 yea you know those flashlights harbor freight has sometimes free? The kind with the 3 aaa battery insert? Well my friend stacked up some wafer batterys and put in it, try it
it's stressing me to watch him. I didn't know there was an audio version of Chat GPT. Trim up this 14 minute rant. and what's with his lower vampire fangs????
