You mean winter 2024? My advice will be to just defer to be on the safe side. Then start your visa application after. You have a lot to show in the visa application (proof of funds, application letter, documentation, etc)

Welcome! It may be late. There needs to be at least 3-4 months gap between when they give admission and when you get visa. May term isn’t a bad idea though.

So I accepted the admission and I started schooling. if my my visa is approved, can I tell the college I applied to in Canada that I want to transfer so that the courses I have done here in Canada can be removed. It is possible depending on if the courses you have taken in Nigeria is recognized for that program. Also different schools have different requirements for exchange and transfer students. My advice - reach out to the department.

There is a Canada College in BC and Quebec. It does not offer any PGWP-eligible programs.

@@MsYemisi it is open to all international students. Each continent have their own email addresses. International students will have to send their documents to their respective continents email addresses. After it being assessed and you are eligible, then you will be offered admission.

If the requirements say it’s compulsory, reach out for a waiver and if they can’t take it out, then it means you have to. But if I were you, I’d ask them first before taking the exam.

Hi Priscilla, An exchange student is someone who completes his high school or degree in a partner university abroad. Yes, a 17 years old can apply but when you’re applying for visa, you’d need to have to include a guardian who will bring you in and someone who will be in charge of you while you’re here. Could be a lecturer.

@fholashey9517, if there’s anything I love to do on the channel, it is providing videos that are helpful and responding to all comments (check my previous videos) So when you see that that’s not the case, it could be due to a lot of reasons - personal struggles, time zone difference, work life, trying to make money, family issues etc. Just as you have your life running, we also do have ours outside of making videos. I can’t see a “thank you for the video” which isn’t something I’m looking for but not you jumping into conclusion. I would have ignored but I had to take my time to respond because of the sense of entitlement.
