Loving your content buddy! Very refreshing to see a normal no ego approach, and seems like are just being yourself and sharing the ride! I just shut down my lifted van life channel and started a new moto channel here to share ideas and experiences, and eventually i will put together some motocamping events here and other social media platforms. I'm rebuilding my old yamaha YZ250 two smoker right now, and will be picking up a fresh 2024 Yamaha Tenere 700 this month sometime. Keep the videos coming!

@@AdventureTomek Yeah i figured for the price getting the pipe up and out of the way a bit and shaving off some overall weight from the bike would be worth it. The exhaust note stock on these bikes is not to bad but a little deeper throttle note will be nice.......

@Adventure Tomek - Did you have any issues with the ECU after the muffler change? The guy I bought my T7 from changed to a MIVV and had to have it re flashed because the new exhaust was throwing an engine code. Now that it has been re flashed I am wondering if I can do a high exhaust or if that will start the code issue all over again

My bike has not had any codes pop up from the muffler change. Was the MIVV a full exhaust system eliminating the cat? I don’t see why it would if you are just replacing the mid pipe.

@AdventureTomek something about the change in compression / back pressure I think. It still has the cat. I have followed your advice on several products. I bought the high pipe thinking I would try it with my MIVV bit it doesn't work - high pipe is 51mm, MIVV is bigger. You and I ride most of the same trails, maybe I'll se you around. Thanks for the great content!

It seams to fit. You could add a spacer and longer bolt to the rear mount to straighten the muffler out. You will likely fix this with your custom bracket tho when you put the rack back on it lol.

You were right.... it started melting the bottom of the right turn signal. I'm taking the bike to good friend who is a fabricator, make some adjustments.

The pipe looks good! The lines match up well with the T7. We'll have to see how you like it after a few rides but I think it'll work out well . 👍

Yeah mate, I've had one on my T7 for about 4months now, had to throw a bit of exhaust cement on here and there & replaced the heat shield with a homemade slightly longer one as the back of my pants was just clipping the exhaust. Great value for money exhaust!

Will pillion pegs fit with this high mount? Also did it come with a muffler or did you reuse your original?

I’ve seen pics with the high mount working with the pillion pegs. The OEM muffler will not work with this mid pipe. I have a cheap one currently for now, was about $40. You at. Find on Amazon, eBay or AliExpress.
