As the owner of one these cars, the ABC system on this model year was greatly improved in the w221 chassis, vs the older w220 chassis models. I've kept up on the maintenance and treat it right, it's never left me stranded.

Alright, here is a nice suggestion that will probably will get lost in the comments. That old iPod wire you pulled from the glovebox means the car is wired up for it, as far as i know that was an option. If you go on Ebay you can find a bluetooth adapter that plugs to that, allowing you to have full "ipod" functionality through bluetooth, so the names of tracks show up and everything.

Best engine ever made from amg. I had the same engine in my old 2008 ML63. I sold it last summer with 362000km (about 225 000miles) on the odo😅

Honestly, that S63 is probably the best looking Benz they’ve made. That thing is beautiful, especially the way the chrome wheels look in contrast with the silver paint.

I'm thinking that may have been a funeral directors car, considering by what you found in the back seat and how well care it was. Usually they use luxury cars for that type of stuff.

That hook into the glovebox unlock the transmission gear lever if you've lost your key or the car is broken and you need to switch to N so you can move the car on a trailer etc.

Edit: never mind I'll just look for a 2009 then, I forgot they don't have the 6.3 on 2011 😂.

The lug bolts are more than likely for the spare tire, Mercedes require different size lug bolts for the spare tire.

I use to work for one of the big three American car companies. I remember when I had to call these sleazy priests who got behind on their car loan payments and they drove in most cases top of the line vehicles, it just made me sick to my stomach. They also would lie why they can’t pay or blame on the parishioners that they did not give enough money this week/month during church collections. I am not saying all priests are bad but just look at what your priest drives and it will give you a story. I am totally with you on that Randy.

Hey Randy, I've always said "I don't know what my dream home looks like but it's paid for".

That PC card in the dash is the 90's equivalent of a modem. Mine was 28.8Kbps at the time. If I remember correctly this technology predated 3G by several years and is probably no longer supported by wireless companies anymore. I bet this was used to connect the infotainment center to the Internet. Very cool car!
