We got the cheapest deal for Starlink Internet, using a standard residential plan on our yacht, and are ready to share our experience and process of installation. This was our dream to be able to work from any location in the world and have internet in the most remote areas. Is that what we expected from Starlink Internet?
If you're also looking for ways to comfortably live aboard - welcome to our channel as we are going to show you how we make this boat comfortable for living and working on.

Would seem like less work to have just installed on the radar tower first up mate, even with just gaffa tape. Now you have holes in your seat 😢 No issue with bad weather effecting the performance?

This is not a seat but the trash chest which we get rid off pretty soon 😂 No, not really. I would say that effect performance more is when you are located in the dense area like a downtown or marina. Than far away from everyone than better it performs

From what I've read doesn't Startlink shut you down if using residential on boat? Good luck with your setup!

I also was scared of it. But it seems like they have pretty big area for geolocation errors. I still believe that if you are going somewhere far away even at 5 knots it makes sense to update your residential location time to time. Thankfully you can do it in the app in a couple of seconds even when you don’t have an address. So you can use geolocation coordinates as your address. I will do more tests as soon as we will start travel more
