Hi Chris, I’m a game developer who’s on his second interview with a company In Bangkok. My fiancé and I wanted to thank you for helping us get comfortable with Thailand. We love everything you do and wish you much success going forward.
I love Terminal 21, I have visited the place a couple of time, plus the Terminal 21 in Pattaya, they are all cool places worth the visit to spend several hours and eat lunch or dinner.
God, I miss all that great food back in Bangkok! I used to stay at Westin, just by Terminal 21, and used to go to the food court quite often. Hopefully, this pandemic will leave us soon and we can come back and enjoy the food and great smiles. Thanks a million Chris for the great videos.
@@alldogsgoheaven That hotel is quite expensive. I don't know about now because of coronavirus, but back then it was close to $200 per night. There are other cheaper hotels close by.
Great edit on the food types in bkk , amazing street food, and your edits are really light and easy to follow. follow since you started. please keep doing what your doing its easy veiwing.
Another banger video, Chris. I love the T21 food court. But this also might be my favorite soi cowboy video ever. No one ever believes me when i tell them its also a lunch market lol.
Hey there Chris, Loving the channel and your content. Knowing a little about the work that goes into posting on here, I'm astounded at the volume of videos that you manage to put out whilst keeping the quality so good. Beautiful thing that you are doing in helping the Thai folk get through these difficult times. My partner and I are looking at ways that we might be able to do something similar. All the best to you and keep on keeping on 😉 By the way... I won't put down the number of food outlets that you passed as I watched the whole video before posting this comment 🙂
Glad you are showing the amazing thai culture, how you can spend your life in amazimg way in thailand at very cheap cost no wonder its always delight to watch your channel... Thank you for your services the retired working for us
Love the sheer variety of food offered in the Terminal 21 food court. And without doubt, their pricing is the best, as you rightly pointed out. Enjoyed your video. Lots of love from a subscriber from India. Cheers ! 🙂
I miss Thailand and the food so much! It’s been so hard for me to get back to my mom living there. Your videos make me homesick, and I can’t wait to come back!
The first meal I ever had in Thailand was at Terminal 21. Loved how you described Sunrise Taco as “acceptable” Mexican food. Your Mexican Food video from a couple of months ago shows that you know the good stuff. It’s that time spent in LA that will spoil you for that. The best Mexican meal I had in Thailand was in the night market in Chiang Mai.... made by a Burmese man that had worked in a Mexican restaurant in Vancouver BC.
You can never go hungry in Thailand, there are food vendors everywhere. I’d say on average walk on a street in Bangkok, there are 2-3 street vendors in a minute walk, and more if you are near office, market areas or BTS stops.
Hi Chris I am a Thai girl stuck in Montreal at the moment with my boyfriend and your show takes me home for a short time We love your videos please keep up the good work
Hi Chris, I'm Thai, used to live in TO for 7 years running Thai restaurant there and now living in Markham. Thanks for your great videos! I've been watching your videos for few months already and they helped me not missing Bangkok too much. I definitely miss the food at Terminal 21 and pls try to check out Samyan Market food court too. Its on the upper level of the market. Lots of nice good there as well! ❤️
@@RetiredWorkingForYou wow, you went to school here, how nice! Please keep up with your amazing work, I always let my almost 7-year-old daughter watch your videos of the kind act you did to the Thai people. She loved them so much and she said Buddha bless you! ❤️
Just landed Bangkok today! Love to say my ginger hair would go amazing with that Orange T-shirt 😂 especially as I’m coming here to find myself and be at peace ✌🏼
I don’t know how you can pick which food to order if I would’ve been with you I would’ve just walked out baffled by the assortment of different food I really like your videos and that you’re trying to help other people you’re a really good person God bless you
Love the videos Chris. We are stuck in Sydney for now but looking forward to heading back to Bangkok ASAP. It is a special place for us and visit every year. Hope to do what you are doing one day. Keep the great videos coming and thanks for living our lives!
Love your videos Chris! On your recommendation my husband and I went to Ruam Sab market and we were amazed to see such varities of food options and the lovely vibe there! Oh and by the way your favorite pad krapaow lady is back! Hope you already know! Cheers! 😁
I visites this place on monday for lunch... Loved it as there are so many options... And its so cheap.. I took card recharge of 300 baht and ended up spending on 98 baht.. Which included one wonton soup a appetizer and pad kharpao..... All the dishes were yummy
Slammed a litre of vodka last night to 'celebrate' the UK passing 100,000 dead. Your vlogs cheer me up so much, dude. Love Thailand, cant wait to get back.
These food videos are really a great source of information, and quite frankly, a source of comfort for us wanna be expats to Thailand. I think many of us Thailand fans always had this impression of Bangkok being an oppressively expensive place to live especially for those expats with limited fixed budgets. Chris with his continued series on living expenses in Bangkok has really countered this stereotype. I love Terminal 21, it's an amazing visual experience, but I always fixated on the fancier restaurants with the higher than average menu prices. That's okay if you're just a tourist with a high spending budget, but not so okay if you live there with limited income. So it was awesome to see such quality food at such low prices. Look at those yummy fruits, very hygienic prepared and healthy. And those food court prices are amazing as well, full rice and meat dishes with sides for US $1.50. All of this lets you know that if you can live a decent quality life in Bangkok for a reasonable budget, then you can do it anywhere else in Thailand.
Me and my friend here in Dallas work midnights for the Airlines. We love your videos and it's unbelievable what u get for the money. We both are counting the days to retire within 2 years. You keep our hopes up Chris & thank you for the awesome videos. Cheers from Dallas.
2:44 I love how that guy was just staring at you haha. He was probably going to say something about your mask, but then walked away after you kept talking 😂
I really miss walking around and eating in Bangkok. I admire your restraint walking by all the delicious streetfood, I could never and my version of this video would be 20 seconds because I'd stop at the first place!
@@pembasherpa6400 good luck with that. The high floors of food paradise 🤣 will not be the same again. Hope we'll have a video update on korean town, and the Japanese food hubs too
The stewed pork leg with rice and an egg is always a great option🙂 If i knew you were going to count all the venues in the food court and terminal 21, i would have guessed much higher, Akward😀 Keep up the great job Chris
I love Terminal 21 as well. In my home country, malls are fast becoming extinct. Thailand (and other Southeast Asian countries as well) have these huge, elaborate shopping malls and they are a feast for the eyes. Terminal 21 is such a feast for the eyes, every time I go to Thailand and there's a Terminal 21 around, I stop by. I'm surprised at how cheap the prices of a lot of these healthy foods are. I normally go to the more expensive restaurants, but one day if I become an expat, it's good to know even in an 'expensive' city like Bangkok, you can eat cheaply everyday.
Sorry to hear that. Tourism will never return to normal. Even the Thai government have issued a statement and new approach on permanent declining tourism.
@@mspanebianco1 Sadly, how tourism happened in the past few years was too big, even to call it "overtourism". Some places became overcrowded. Flights got very cheap in Europe that people rather flew to Spain for a few bucks, partied there and went back the same day, rather than doing that locally, just because Ryan air was there. It was not sustainable. In future tourism might change for a more local and ecofriendly and long term tourism, that people stay at once country for a longer period of time. Sadly most countries only let young people do that, a work and travel approach to tourism. Tourism will return once it is possible, but not at the scale in pre 2019 levels. Maybe it is a good thing, that the places needed to be protected finally can recover. Economically it is another scale, people loosing their work. People in the airline industry. Tourism needs to be simply wiser done. This is a new normal even for me, who traveled every one to two years to Canada.
Thanks for all of the great content and the great things you are doing. I am going to guess that you will come across at least 23 great food options on your way to the mall. I know I'll be wrong but I love to play along!! Keep up the great work
Excellent video Chris .. as per usual! I love love Bangkok & the street food options are just visually & gastronomically fantastic! So many options for delicious delights! Your videos make me so so want to go back & visit wonderful Thailand 🇹🇭.. thanks again Chris for all that you do! 😁❤️
Another fantastic video, taking us that are missing Thailand so much and those wanting to visit much calm during a year and counting of the pandemic, always waiting for the next vid to drop!!! Thanks Chris.
15 years ago I’m been worked at DHL company It’s office in side Asoke Building .. OMG I miss Thailand so much …still remember everything about this area ❤️now I’m watching you From Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Hi from Alexandria VA. Thanks for showing around in Terminal 21. Thanks for going to a variety places. Please keep doing the condo tour VDOs and travel VDOs. I love them. We’ve not been back to Thailand for 10 years. Once “the situation” is better and I get vaccinated, I’ll go to Thailand for sure. I miss home.
The last couple times I was in Bangkok, I booked hotel near to Terminal 21 as it is a nice area and shopping mall. Visited the foodcourt a few times and it was great, lots of local food options at good price (lower than other shopping mall food courts), the food court also stay open until quite late. There is also a Terminal 21 mall in Korat with very similar shops and foodcourt and it was also great.
Missing Bangkok a lot! Been going there for regular meetings as a business consultant till feb of last year when covid became a pandemic. Thank you for the vids! It helps me reminisce my great trips there!
@ Retired Working For You. I absolutely love it but..... Iv only just come back to Thailand after a year away so it's going to take some time for the old pallet to catch up again 🤯😂.
