Which hotel do you think should win?! The budget or the more expensive! Let me know INSTAGRAM: gracebooth97 TIKTOK: gracebooth97 VLOG: @extragrackvlogs
You should do 3 nights in one hotel staying in three different rooms they offer from the cheapest, middle and the most expensive to see the differences
I've stayed at that same Easyhotel back in 2017 and it felt so safe and secure in a little bubble room. The lack of luxuries means there's no reason to stay in the room. It made me get up and go explore London whereas when I stay in nicer places I want to stay in and enjoy the room so there's no point being in London!
Maybe do a cheapest vs most expensive _dinner_ buffet? I think there might be a larger difference in quality compared to a breakfast one, and overall would be interesting to see what London has to offer!
The Easy hotel reminds me of capsule hotel that Taz stayed in that time on "Click for Taz" I think I would definitely need a room with a window! I'd feel too claustrophobic otherwise!! Can't believe how much you have grown in confidence. Doing this video alone. Years ago you couldn't spend one night away from home without Chloe or going to stay with a friend. Or if you did go alone your anxiety was so bad that you couldn't sleep. So proud of you for challenging your fears x How Boujee is the 2nd hotel? The swimming pool and spa area. WOW!!! Good breakfast buffet too. Plus you got the all important robe and slippers!!!!😅😊❤️
I actually love this style of super cheap hotel. When I’m travelling, a hotel room is just a place to sleep. I don’t care for about the room as long a sits clean, the food, or any other stuff. A bed, a toilet, and a shower is all I need.
Same here. Of course, if I had the money to book more expensive hotels I would, but as someone with barely enough to even go away for a few days, cheap hotels are perfectly fine!
A good hotel, while on a skiing trip makes a huge difference. I couldn't even imagine how much it improves the whole experience until I tried a fancy hotel. And all inclusive resorts, for holidays with the little ones, should be 4 or 5 stars resorts. Otherwise what's even the point for going?
Clean bedding, noise proof (as cities always have construction going on) and hot water is all one needs for a quick overnight or fast paced visit. Obviously if it was a beach/island resort type I would pay more for the whole comfortable experience (SPA) 💗😁
i love that you do solo dates, a lot of adulthood gets busy and it’s easy to fall into the trap of doing nothing bc of no one to go with! You’ve helped me understand and normalise that doing things alone is just as normal and just as enjoyable x
Yep I'm approaching 30 and all friends and family around my age spend their night's with Netflix and we're all getting fatter and less articulate 😅😅 really have to do something!!!
This is actually such a good series to plan future London trips! 😍 You should do like a budget day vs luxury day in London. Maybe try hostels. Review cheap activities vs expensive activities in London. Its nice to get a refreshing review from a genuine person (like not sponsored).
The mystery of the tv is that you have to pay extra to get a remote! Stayed in an easyhotel in Glasgow for several days once and no complaints...sure, I could touch three walls at once when lying in bed (and I am not tall), but it was clean, safe, and affordable. I did have a window though!
The bathroom from the first room is exactly the same type I had for 5 years when I was in uni. It's kind of tricky but it's SO easy to clean (everything is plastic so you just have to use a sponge and rince everything with the shower head)
Bestie just wanted to say I was tearing up watching this vid because you are the most lovely, genuine and warming person on RU-vid! You deserve the best and more! Thank you for always being here me for me to watch because you make me feel happy!!
I know the Mandarin Oriental was the most expensive at one point with their suite costing £40k per night, but this was a couple of years ago. You should definitely see if you can get a behind the scene tour of a 5* London hotel; some have onsite florists (which is so cool to just see a room full of beautiful flowers) others have fleets of amazing cars for their guests to rent out etc. An interview with a concierge at a 5* hotel would also be so exciting - they make whatever the guest wants (and can pay for) possible and have really interesting jobs.
I'm tempted to do this one day with my husband- just randomly take a weekend to go to a new city and try a cheap hotel and an expensive hotel (do the cheap one on the first day so we'll be more inclined to explore the city and then on our last night, have the expensive one so we can enjoy our time together). Thanks Grack!
I feel like the Easy hotel would be perfect if you were catching a flight/train and literally only need a place to crash. The pool on the second hotel looks gorge!
They are very similar to Ibis Budget hotels too. Perfect for when you have an early morning flight and just need to crash somewhere close to the airport!
I've got to admit that I never much cared for room service, never thought it was worth the expense, especially if you were in a good-sized city with other choices nearby.
Thank the lord for Grace. Honestly she makes me feel so much better when I’m down in the dumps. I can always rely on putting on one of her videos and relaxing with my sketch pad. THANKS GRACK!!❤️🔥❤️🔥
Great video, I love this series. Now I really want to go to that fancy hotel. I really hope they see your video and invite you back to the deluxe room or whatever is the most expensive room they have 😍
from memory, private hostel rooms are a similar price but honestly seem like way better value! you should test out hostels if you're comfortable with that!
It's crazy how expensive London is - I'm born and bred here and I just visited Rome last week. The expensive hotel in your video was equivalent to the one I went to in Rome - breakfast included; costed £75 per night!
I stayed in the EasyHotel in Shoreditch a couple of months back when I was in London - craaaazy how basic it is. But makes sense for what you're paying tbh!
Grackle in her element! I'm not a fan of easyJet, but easyHotel is OK by me. I've used it (indeed, I've used the Earl's Court one) several times on visits to London. For staying in the big cities, basic is often all you need; there are also environmental pluses to be extracted from a windowless room with amenities on demand rather than being resupplied every day whether you want them or not. It amuses me somewhat that the wash room has the dimensions and shapes of a train toilet, but at least it tends to be cleaner! In Scotland I have stayed in something similar: Tune Hotels offer a basic room like that of easyHotel, but you can "tune" your stay by adding and paying for whatever additions (hair dryer, breakfast, tea and coffee facilities, TV, iron) you desire. As for the fancy hotel - well, London has plenty and it's the sort of place to which the foreign visitor might treat him/herself.
Really helpful video Grace. Perfect for anyone planning a trip to London, especially on a budget. Not going to lie, the lack of window in the Easy hotel was a bit strange… think I’d have to pay extra for a window however for anyone just needing a base to sleep whilst exploring London, it a good idea x
Grace, I could probably be your grandmother. However, I just love your videos!! You are so much fun with spunk!! I love that! You love the Lord, you are so sweet to your parents and siblings! I think everyone could use a dose of GRACE daily! God bless & take care. bp
Wow, I have no idea what your channel is about and was just looking for vlogs of the Pan Pacific London. But, you’re personality is so charming and adorable that I am liking and subscribing ASAP.
Cheapest vs expensive day tour. As a tourist I would love to see a comparison of day tours available or visitor experience for a tourist? I’ve loved these videos a lot 👍
We stayed at the Pan Pacific for our 8 year anniversary last year, it's really nice. We actually had the same room. Pool's really nice but I will say the massage, the woman actually tried to kill me 😂 I actually squealed! That's how much my bones were crying, the woman just laughed and said it's okay, it's okay 😂😂 Also, random one...the gym has really low ceilings and my bf tried to do a workout, he could literally touch the ceiling and did nearly knock it when on the treadmill / doing weights etc. The only other thing I would say is the "english breakfast" was pretty dry. Would love to visit again when we're not in lockdown as it was quite quiet when we went but staff were really nice at the bars, made our anniversary really special. Something else happened, but we won't say what as they resolved it and I was happy in the end 🙃
You need to go on a cruise! I've just come back from a cunard cruise and oh my it was the most incredible experience I've ever had. And you get chocolates on the pillow...
Cheapest vs. most expensive spa/massage/facial could be fun (and potentially hilarious!) But also for travellers to London cheapest vs. most expensive West End show/seat in the theatre.
Really loved and needed a Grack vlog. I'm wanting to visit London so videos like these are so helpful. Off topic... Do you know if Taz is ok? I know you know each other and just getting worried. Xx
Got married in Vegas last June and it was my first opportunity for room service. You ordered through the TV it was amazing. The room service was a great price and the food was cheaper than the restaurants in the food court in the casino, but it was the same exact foods. I still think about the chicken quesadilla I got and the pizza was actually so amazing as well. Also got a veggie omelette one morning that was delicious. Vegas was such a fun place all around!
Thanks for your videos Grace they genuinely help so much. Going through a very stressful time at the moment and this helped me calm down and distracted me from anxiety and calmed my breathing. I wanna go to that fancy hotel now just to relax and recover!! How much did you pay, I don't think I caught that part?
Great idea and the cheap Easy hotel room is what the typical budget chain hotel room at the lowest price category looks like. Btw the flowers are called fuchsia❤️
last time i went to london with my bf we stayed at the easy hotel and it was great because we just wanted a place to sleep after walking around town the whole day! the room was exactly the same as you showed, we laughed so much at how small it was but again, for the price i'd stay there again haha :) also, i'm in love with pan pacific?? it looks DREAMYY
My friend and I stayed overnight at The Ritz on a similar once in a millennia deal a few years ago. There was no in room tea station, but I presume you called room service for tea as you wanted it - we weren’t sure if that was included or not so didn’t (we did get a free paper delivered in a cotton bag the following morning though. We also didn’t dare take anything from the in-room bar as even cheap hotels mark-up bog-standard chocolate bars several thousand percent.
Grace! Omg you was in my dream today!!! We were going on some trip. You had your fab jeans dungarees and white shoes (that's all what I remember, I swear I didn't see this video before and you actually wearing it...) we were in a car, you sighed heavily and was so nervous, I kissed your forehead haha! (I know, right?) And you went to pick up our food. Omg, best dream ever! Kisses from Scotland:)
Your vids are always banging! You should do another Filipino food day. All Filipino BBQ and grilled foods and street foods. Filipino tocino stick, chorizo stick, pork bbq stick, and chicken inasal with chicken oil.
A musical group called Voctave, which is an a capella group, did a cd of musicals music. I know one of the high sopranos. They put out a call for ppl to send in tapes of themselves singing You Will Be Found. They supplied the click track, sheet music & mp3 of the song. I submitted a track & am on their cd! It was nerve wracking but so thrilling for me! Anyway, loved your review of the 2 hotels! I think they both won bc they did as advertised. I do think the more luxurious one was the one you liked best tho. 💜
good to see the Pan Pacific inside! Its nearby my ex office. But 300 quid for what you get is not too bad! minimalist and tranquil. The breakfast could be much better for an asian chain company...😉
Hay fever trick for next year : wash out your eyes before sleep with some physiological serum (basically pour it in, make sure your "under upper lid" gets washed out. It really helps my friend with her allergies !
Couldn’t survive in a room without a window. When u said u were heading out I imagined that post credits scene from DON‘T LOOK UP with Jonah Hill in it (if u know u know) 🙈😂
