THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO SUPPORTIVE AND WONDERFUL IN THE COMMENTS. I truly cannot say enough how grateful I am for every single one of your views, likes, comments. Without your support this could never have happened. ALSO, already getting comments like 'I don't eat that and I am from x,y,z', but as I said in the disclaimer, even in my group of 5 friends we all have different christmas meal traditions so apologies if I didn't do exactly what you ate! I tried my best in the research, let me know down below what I should try next or any vids you wanna see! See you on Thursday my lovely lil buttercups AND don't forget, vlogmass on ru-vid.com/show-UC_J93mR-rtZsrEFC23zVwtQ !

So pleased for you to get the sponsorship! Tell BodyShop that I haven't been in one of their stores for like 15 years, but I'm going to buy a couple of bits after lockdown. This was a great idea for a video, really fun. Video ideas: 1) 3 days of eating like they did in 1721 / 1821 / 1921. Day 1 is what poor people ate. Day 2 is what middle class people ate. Day 3 is what posh people ate. 2) (After lockdown) you go to a Paint your own pottery place, and paint two mugs. One is a giveaway for your viewers, and the other is auctioned off and all the money goes to a good cause. 3) Eating popular supermarket foods that you haven't had before. You do a haul of foods like Smash, Angel Delight, Pot Noodle, BeanFeast, etc. And then you eat them. 4) Australia has Christmas during their summer, so in July you should recreate a Bondi-beach Australian Christmas.

I’m just not so sure the recipe is quite traditional Brazilian tho 🙃 Usually people make like a chocolate and vanilla one, most traditionally using a digestive biscuit type of cookie in between the layers (biscoito maizena or biscoito maria) Hope you get to try some other Brazilian food, we have great ones! Icelander here, well done on the pork. The leafbread(laufabrauð) is more of a snack and/or eaten with the smoked lamb (hangikjöt) and it is deepfried. The rice pudding is definitely a tradition here in Iceland(and other Nordic countries) so you could have done that. There's even a present involved. There's a hidden almond in one of the serving bowls and whoever gets the almond gets the almond gift.

As a Dane the Norwegian christmas dinner is very similar to ours but we also eat roasted duck. I wish you would try our christmas dessert though! It is called Risalamande and is made from rice, milk, whipped cream, vanilla bean and chopped almonds. Served with cherry sauce and one whole almond in the bowl, whoever gets the almond gets the risalamande present and reveals they got it after everybody has stuffed themselves trying to find the whole almond :)

There were some yummy dishes there, I'll have to try them some time I once made a desserts for the holidays, a kind of dessert assortment. Five small taster desserts, each from a country on a different continent: rice pudding with lemon for Africa, Japanese cheesecake, French chocolate mousse, American popcorn with caramel, and ice cream for Antarctica 😉 Happy holidays everyone, hope you can enjoy some of it, even with all this mess. 💚❤️

Ahhhh so excited you are doing Norway! Your julekake looks amazing, we eat it at Christmas but not for dessert, more like a snack. Your ribbe is okay, people take years perfecting it so you did good. We have something that’s similar to sauerkraut but not quite the same, it’s not fermented. Never heard of caramelised potatoes, think they are more danish? I never comment on stuff but this is really exciting, I’m a chef and you posting about Norwegian food is really cool

If you want to try to bake something swedish for christmas I would recommend saffron buns! We have a classic one that is shaped like a ”S” but they tend to be a bit dry (at least I think so) so I would recommend saffron buns with almond paste. They are divine I promise!

As a fellow Brazilian I must say that usually have black beans on Christmas and that’s probably why the farofa tasted more like sand is because it’s usually sprinkled on the beans to add a bit more flavour but loved the video !

I just love how open to new food your family is and honest and genuine about it. My family is absolutely frightened of new things and would never comply with trying out different foods from other parts of the world.
