An update has been made to where all of the cabins (economy, prem econ, and business class) will show up in results all at once and you can then filter the results for which cabins you like. What do you think of Points Yeah’s Daydream Explorer? Does it compete with Seats.Aero?
I just wanted to run something by you. I'm presently in Sri Lanka enjoying a visit to a country I've never visited before. (Flew on Air France via my venture one points and a side trip to India) On a whim I decided to go to Nepal another country on my bucket list. I did not find a good point option for the flight up there so I decided to book a cheap nonstop Sri Lanka Air flight for $290, I could have booked through my venture card for 36k pts but it seemed like it was a waste of points as well as all my other award programs. Now what I can do is collect the approx 1,400 pts for buying the ticket and use my venture card points to now pay for the ticket netting it to 27,600 points and no cash. Does that make sense to you?
Oops I see I only get 5x points if I buy through their portal. Oh well I'm still happy with my use of points. And I have a few weeks to decide if I pay with points or just pay with cash.
@@Lazegoose55 I hear what you saying and it makes sense. It’s not technically the best value of the points, but you take what you can get sometimes. If you’re asking if I would do it if I were in the same position and couldn’t rearrange plans for a better deal - I probably would, but I may try to pay $50-100 out of pocket to save 5-10k points to use for something else.
Thank you, Michael! Can't wait to check out this tool. As with all your videos, your instructions are easy to follow so excited to search for our Christmas Market trip and explore other trips. Looking forward to watching and learning more in the future!
Gotta love free! They’re always adding, updating, and improving features too. It’s impressive. From the time I recorded to the time I published they updated it so that the Hawaii was separate from the US on search so you get a little more accurate fares on search.
Good question. Truthfully Cathay Pacific has been a sort of a blind spot for me, just haven’t had to use it much, so that would be nice to have a tool to check it for me. Them and British Airways
